What comes to mind when coming across the world, 'Witch'?

Aanthea, a famed Witch within the race itself. Different convens and types of the supernaturals would have heard of her name before. At the very least, roughly that was so.

Who is Aanthea?

Aanthea is an old witch that has lived for over a good few millenniums equalling to over thousands of years. Maybe even, thousands over thousands too. And perhaps only Aanthea herself knows the actuality to the truthful answer that.

She not only holds the ranking of a Ancestor within the Witch population but also the title of being a part of group that had long disappeared with time and history, 'Shadow'.

What comes to mind when coming across, 'Shadow'?

Isn't it just merely a light opaque reflection of an object? What else could it be?

In this definition of Shadows, they are rather similar to shadow assassins and guards exet for several things which are unique from the other two.

Shadows are highly respected creatures of any race. Be it beastkins, witches, wizards, warlocks, humans, vampires, demons, orcs, gnomes, elvs and just any species of races. However, they were once highly populated within the race of Witches.

Out of the races that uses magic power, Witches are the most powerful by far in regards to using magic as recorded by the Censors and Chroniclers in written history. Witches are natural born magic s with Elves coming second after them. It is an assumption made often that Elves are most connected to Magic and so are the most powerful s involving magic.

Shadows are pretty much the most powerful citizens of their own kind. They also act as their kind's guardians, protecting them from any kind of major harm. While Shadows are powerful, it did not mean that they were godly.

That meant that even Shadows, as powerful beings, could even die so easily just by the command from Death himself.

Still, it was the Shadows from the Witches' kind that remained at the top of the chain. As typical as ever, as expected was what one might say.

Aanthea was one of them. And she's still surviving up to now despite the mysterious disappearance of all the Shadows. Even her good teammates she usually worked with, in simpler words: the other Shadows of the Witches' kind.

Though apart from that, any information of any relavance to Shadows or Ananthea herself was lacking. No one knew where Aanthea was, what was Anthea's appearance, how does Anthea is right now. Or, is she even dead by this point. Dead or Alive, who knows. Only Aanthea herself knew the best to the questions said.

Speak of the Devil, the Devil arrives.

Aanthea, just like any other average townspeople, strolled along the streets of the town close by where her current living residence. She looked and seemed like the average normal person. No one would ever suspect the historical juicy story she could offer.

With a cute little creature lying on her shoulder comfortably, Aanthea walked into the Mercenary Guild branch building located in the border town. She checked in as her signed in name as a citizen, 'Viniea'. She had a few identities. Well, at least considerably just three major ones she supposed. One as her true identity, Aanthea. Another as a townsperson, Viniea. The last identity was the only name the one that people had given her, Evimeró.

Who would be able to tell how her life would continue to turn out? What was her destiny and fate? How would Aanthea continue live her life on from there on?

No one.

No one knew.
