Crossover or Not?

It’s been quite awhile since I’ve had to write an introduction quite like this. The time has come again for Challenge Weekend. All of the staff has worked hard to create a variety of challenges so hope you guys enjoy them!

Now without further delay, onto my challenge!

Crossovers

These kinda of stories are always a delight to read. Seeing how different authors mesh different universes together and how the characters from each universe would deal with the swap. Some can be done amazingly well with the characters blending together properly and the story becoming a completely different beast. Others are done more as a meme than anything else and are still fun to read if only for the laugh.

For my challenge you are going to use your imagination a little bit and create two possible crossovers. One is going to be your Crossover Do, a crossover that you really want to see. The other is going to be your Crossover Don’t, a crossover that you believe shouldn’t exist ever.

You can do this with literally any fandom you want, TV Shows, Bands, Kpop groups, Anime, Books, Movies, Cartoons, etc. Go nuts!

What Do You Have to Do?

In your blog post, list off both your Crossover Do and Crossover Don’t and provide a little bit of a explanation for each. Why is that particular crossover your Crossover Do or Don’t? Why would it be awesome/awful to see?

Then you are going to pick one of your created crossovers, either your Crossover Do or your Crossover Don’t and create a small piece for it.

By piece, I mean a short story, poem, edit, or artwork. I have stuck the minimum requirements for each of these categories down in the rules.

You only have to do this one of your created crossovers but you’re welcome to create something for both if you feel inspired!

Rules

Must include both a crossover you wish existed and a crossover that should never be brought into existence

Must explain why you picked these series for both categories

Must pick either your Crossover Do or your Crossover Don’t to create a small piece for.

Follow the [Guidelines] and put proper trigger warnings if necessary

Minimum Requirements: Piece can be either a 200 word story, an edit, a piece of art, or a 10 lines poem.
