no apologies to be offered when their wounds

wept for your comfort and consolation.

you carry yourself with a selfish, gold-flecked pride;

a god amongst men in your own chaotic stride.

that leather jacket adorns your strong shoulders

like a fine armor of black, from your dark hair to

your sultry, soot-veiled eyes, down to your heavy

boots.

our handsome knight riding in on a steed of

rubber wheels and gasoline, oozing all of your

thick, irresistible charm between tender lies of silk

and sweet, lustful nothings.

your damsels don't quite understand distress

until you've left them alone and broken in their

towers, until you've gone and shattered those

glass slippers without remorse, and torn the

petals off their roses.

you were not made to love softly, with satin kisses

on full lips and deep gazes of promise and romance.

you were not made to be caught, nor kept.

teeth on skin, and crystalline eyes astray,

cigarette smoke stains your breath the way

you've stained countless hearts.

your only promise was to break her,

and then break every girl who followed.

you are the perfect bad boy aesthetic.
