Hello!
Basically, I came up with what was supposed to be 4 prompts for one story but I ended up changing it to 4 poems based off of them instead!
================================
Aliza was young in body, her 8th birthday coming up and could paint centuries of stories.
Samuel was young in spirit, their 20 year-old body creating verses that could feed millions.
Jack was young at heart, his body held a wise man in the room of a 14 year-old dancer.
Veronica was young in mind, she may have aged 17 years, but her words were as old as time.

Red paper
Blue hearts
Tired eyes and sour parts
Swollen hands
Broken seams
Colored desks and monotone dreams
Her life was new
But aged the same
Her years had left as fast as they came

A poem should long
It should be short
It should be strong
A poet
The like
All things at once
But never the same
It’s not quite a riddle
Not always a rhyme
As a dreamer dreams
Or writer writes
As a singer sings
Or teachers teach
A poet should be strong
In the field of its own
One like none
None like one
A poet should be strong
But never the same
===
Many spoke
“Dance is for girls”
A frilly tutu; a girly leap
Hair so tight you barely speak
But maybe there’s more
To the one you see
I prefer the guy
Between you and me
His form always strong
But as soft a snow
His heart is the size
Of his head to his toes
So don't joke
About the boy in tights
Soon they may be dancing
Under professional lights
===
From ancient greek
To new text “fleek”
There's a language on every road
Every street
Even the animals
Speak in tongues
They say want they want
They say what they need
But a brains like mine
We work differently
We speak all the tongues
They clutter at our feet
We can speak any languages
Unknown to the mind
But say every word
That you’ll hear in due time
