Greetings fair warrior, and welcome to the seventeenth wave of LiteraryClan auditions! I’m Tin, the LtC leader here to bring you information on how to audition!

But first let us journey through the valleys, over the moorlands and into the night lit forest, to the world of LiteraryClan.

What is LiteraryClan?…

LiteraryClan is an official clan dedicated to the analysis of literary devices and themes used within the Warriors series. The Clan is composed of two divisions, the Theme Division and the Device Division, both of which are include our incredible artists and writers. Our writers, in both divisions, analyze the device or theme given by research and looking within the books themselves! Artists of the clan create beautiful pieces of visual representation of the theme or device given, these can be exaggerations or pieces of scenes within the series! Both Warriors and Apprentices of the clan complete a monthly using their stated prompt specific to their division. For more information on our clan, click here!

What are Literary Themes and Devices?…

A Literary Theme is a central message or topic within a work of literature! Common themes that you may find are Coming Of Age, or Isolation. Topics such as these inspire entire works of literature and are what the story is built upon.

When it comes to Literary Devices, they are the structures that an authors will use within their work! And are more common then you may think often appearing on every page! Literary Devices are used to help convey an authors message in a way that is simple and understandable to the reader! Some common devices you may know of include Allegory and Metaphor.

Theme Division:

Heroes are characters who embody courage, wisdom, kindness and often self sacrifice. What characters are heroes, and in which scenes do they portray this? Give details and be specific!

Device Division

Allusions are references to well-known people, places, events, or other forms of media. Show a time in the text in which allusions are used. Does it help give the moment more meaning? Why was this particular moment significant to you? Who was involved in the scene? Give details and be specific!

☞ July 12 at 11:59 pm CST; giving you a month after auditions open ^^

When will results be out?

☞ Approximately a week or two after closing!

Who will post the results?

☞ Ohukopa

What divisons will you be accepting?

☞ We will be accepting in both divisions

What ranks will you be accepting?

☞ Both Apprentices and Warriors!
