Ueki-Loid is a private Vocaloid licensed by Music Airport Inc. His voice is based off the deceased comedian, actor, singer, and guitarist, Hitoshi Ueki. Ueki-Loid is part of the "Legend of VOCALOID" line up.

WHO WAS HITOSHI UEKI

Hitoshi Ueki was an actor, comedian, actor, comedian, singer, and guitarist. He was born on December 25, 1926 and left us on March 27, 2007(80 when he left). He was part of a comedy jazz band called The Crazy Cats.

The band was lead by Hajime Hana. Some of the major acting roles he got were in Musekinin Otoko (film series), Shabondama Holiday (comedy variety show), The Hangman (primetime TV. series), Nagoya Yomeiri Monogatari (franchise), and many more! Hell, he even voiced Roddy McDowall from Planet of the Apes! His hit song with the Crazy Cats was Sūdara-bushi, which placed in the Oricon top ten!

LEGEND OF VOCALOID?

All it is is Yamaha trying to bring back the vocals of dead singers. The Legend of Vocaloid is just that with Ueki-Loid being the first! His voice was commissioned by his family so they might have helped the process of this brilliant project. Unfortunately, I believe the project was abandoned but I'm not really sure.

MY OPINION ON HIM

I really do think he has a lot of potential and I would love to see more uses of him! Unfortunately I don't see that happening, since he is a private VOCALOID. All I can do is hope!
