Vocaloid lies?

Has anyone ever told you a lie about either a vocaloid, a company, fans, or anything involving vocaloid?

I have two!

1- If you know this youtuber, please do not say her name in the comment section. I don't want anyone sending her hate. If i wasn't already big into this fandom, then I'd probably would of believed this. I was watching a youtube video about how theres a war between Vocaloid and UTAU. Im like...where?

2- I was in a group who liked vocaloid and was told that the reason there isnt a Megpoid V4 English update was because of Una doing so well that they don't want to pay attention to Gumi anymore.

1. Teto is a Vocaloid: this is a commonly believed lie/myth. She was created as a joke.

2. Vocaloid only has 6 voicebacks: I’m pretty sure it has hundreds

Oh the controversies caused by YouTubers. (I know one more but I don't have hard facts, so I just sit there watching their videos wondering if this is even true.)

Someone told me Sakine Meiko and Meiko were the same person.

And that's pretty much all I have. Oh, no, wait. My friend [redacted] tried to convince me that IA is the only popular Vocaloid and that anything else is trash to her. You can say she's one of those "Miku's overrated" people but I'll leave it to how you want to interpret it. Also I might be a bit too biased here but yeah. She tried to force me into her stuff.

I haven't been told LIEs about vocaloid but I did see Shion get used for Kaito as his official last name

They didn't know about the facts either so that's not a lie

Gackt is an alternative name for gakupo, Alys is a vocaloid, vy2's official design is Roro and Vanan'ice was an official boy group between crypton & internet co.
