Story

The song is about a girl who's really stressed out. She begs for a clone of her so that she can relax at least a little bit. Her wish was granted and another Gumi appears to help her. But things got worse as even more clones appeared. They started to take over her life and "replaced" her. Near the end she's apologizing to God for cheating in her life. She seems really desperate. As the song finishes it is revealed that she herself is just a clone and that there never was an original

Interpretation

So everyone has their own interpretation but I will talk about mine.

Since Gumi is wearing a school uniform I think that she's talking/singing about the pressure that is put on students in general, not only in Japan. Teachers and parents have high expectations that we're trying to live up to but it's really difficult. Our parents are putting pressure on us but I think we ourselves are stressing us out way more.

My opinion and rating

I really like this song. The melody and lyrics harmonize together very well and the story that is told is relateable. Overall it's one of my favorite songs.

My rating would be 8/10
