Song 1: "Jueves" (cover) feat. Maika by Ritzuka Kun (original by La Oreja de Van Gogh)
Okay so I it I'm a sucker for Spanish old songs. They're my jam. When I found this cover I immediately fell in love with it.Maika's voice is so soothing and relaxing here... And sad. This song talks about the events that happened in Madrid 11M (search at your own risk) hence the last sentence. This song conveys a very sad story that, when truly understood, makes you think for a while... And you might even cry... Recommended.
Song 2: "TRASH and TRASH!" feat. Kagamine Rin by Kurage-P
Oh look a relatable song. Jk jk. This song has a very nice tune, it's catchy and the lyrics are easy to (torashu~). I love how Kurage referenced other songs by him inside this one. My take on this is that she hated everything (the girl that's negative towards everything and everyone) and at the end, realizing she hates herself as well, calls herself trash and... Well... "Let's throw her away as well".
Being a fan of Kurage, I recommend this song to anyone. Besides... It's funny if you think about it ;)
Song 3: "Kagerō Days" (cover) feat. Utatane Piko by AbstractCactus (original by Shizen no Teki-P)
I LOVE HIM. Kagerō days was a great songs, but Miku singing it from the boy's POV... I didn't like it too much, tbh. So when I was around NicoBox (All Hail NicoBox our Saviour App) and I found this, I immediately became attached to it and now it's one of my favorite covers. Btw, you should expect a lot of Piko here today (huehuehue).
So yeah I like his voice better than Miku's in this song. No regrets. Recommended 500% if you love Utatane Piko and can't find good songs or covers.
Song 4: "IRON MADEN" feat. Utatane Piko by Ockman_Red
Yes more Piko this good for health. Now seriously, this song is amazing. Piko needs a little bit of tuning tho... But who cares?! This is an amazing Rock/Metal/Techno song? I don't know anymore, but this is incredible. This is for all of you who are desperate for Piko originals--I have found a whole mine. Listen to it. You won't regret it (well maybe a bit bc of tuning but).
Song 5: "Kimi no Taion" (cover) feat. Utatane Piko by Ezmyth (original by Kuwagata-P)
Shoutout to Ezmyth for making this amazing cover. Anyways, originally I hated Kimi no Taion for no reason at all, but now it's one of my overall favorites. It just needed Piko's vocals to make it perfect, and when Ezmyth ed this cover I literally screamed. The volume may be a bit low, but I'd happily destroy my ears just to hear this. His voice goes perfectly with the songs, as well as it's perfect because I think the song is sung from the guy's POV, which makes it more and more interesting. Recommendated. And I think you'll all like it.
Song 6: "Souvenir" (cover) feat. Utatane Piko by LuYurippe (original by Fay-P)
Aaaah this song. I find it so calming, relaxing and sweet... I haven't seen the video (yet), but I think it's a sad story, isn't it? Piko's voice sounds so soft and suave in this song I just love it and wow LuYurippe has done such an amazing job and I don't have the words to express how much I love it. This music sends me straight to sleep tbh, but it's the kind of music I like to hear whenever I'm stressed. You should listen to it - it's wonderful.
Song 7: "Ghost Rule" feat. Hatsune Miku by DECO*27
I know I have said before I preferred the Fukase version, but now I love BOTH. The original, the cover, that cover with Kanon... I love them all. I find it very inspiring, it is very upbeat, it has a nice rhythm... I love every fiber of this song, even if Miku's extremely high notes kill my ears. I doubt you haven't heard it so go hear it again. Deco*27 made an amazing job, as usual, but I think this song out stands some of the others. So go hear it-amazing.
Song 8: "Itsudatte Happy Day" feat. Hatsune Miku by Bakappa (?) Akashii
[YouTube video unavailable]
This song is a happy song. Outgoing, sweet, bubbly, cheerful... Miku's voice overflows with happiness. This is a cheer-up song, a good morning song, a perfect song for those happy souls that live their lives to the max. It can be found in NicoNico Douga or NicoBox (where I found it), and to date there hadn't been any YouTube Reprints. The song is so innocent! Completely recommended to any of you feeling down, happy or just in the mood for a song.

Song 1: “Cassiopeia (Spacefaring Mix)” feat. Hatsune Miku by Sushi-P
A great song to start off with, this one’s lively beat is another that really helps me get motivated and excited! Similar to “Frost” featuring flower, the music is deceptively cheerful because the lyrics are actually rather sad and longing. This is a remix, though, so that definitely doesn’t help. I really like how Miku sounds here---very calm and sweet (albeit a bit more childish than I usually prefer)! I just love how the instrumentals range from soft to dance-like to crazy and “glitch”-like!
Song 2: “Emotion Engine” feat. Kagamine Len by kamika
Ahh, another melancholy Len song. I’m starting to notice a pattern here…. Anyway, I love how quietly desperate Len sounds, and the combination of acoustic and electronic elements in the instrumental make for such an enrapturing experience! This song always seems to end far too quickly, and I’m always left holding my breath for more.
Song 3: “Flower of Sorrow” (cover) feat. Nekomura Iroha by Ricardo P (original by OSTER Project)
This song starts out strong and just gets better. Iroha’s voice is breathtakingly ethereal and articulate, and she sings with such a fierce intensity of which I simply can’t get enough. The instrumentals are more orchestral and elegant than music I typically listen to, and I think it fits beautifully (although I, personally, could do without the guitar solo). I just looked up the lyrics and I think it’s about an abusive relationship…? I’m not sure, but they really add to the sadness and desperation in Iroha’s voice.
Song 4: “Hard-Disk Hide and Seek” feat. AVANNA by nostraightanswer (Kenji-B)
As you have probably noticed, I love songs that build in intensity, and this song is certainly no exception. I love how AVANNA’s sweet and light vocals give off a false, cheerful vibe that slowly degrades into a vague feeling of dread or danger as the song progresses and the lyrics take a menacing turn. The instrumentals are subtly brilliant, building the mood until suddenly bursting into an explosion of sound in the chorus. This song is also my favorite one to sing, and it’s extremely difficult for me to resist when other people are around!
Song 5: “HELLO” feat. Hatsune Miku by PLAMA
Yep, it’s the PLAMA song of the playlist. We all knew it was coming. …But this time at least it’s featuring Miku, right?? I couldn’t find an English translation of the lyrics, so I hope they’re not too nasty or anything (although I don’t think PLAMA typically writes trashy Japanese lyrics). Not much I can say about this that I haven’t said about PLAMA’s other works, but I still love how playful and electric its vibe is. Miku sounds fantastic here---very light and clear!
Song 6: “HOLD FIRE” feat. Fukase English by heart★breaker
AHHH, I CAN FINALLY PUT THIS SONG ON THE LIST! I have seriously tried to put this song on both previous playlists but kept ending up removing it because there were too many other songs I listened to way more frequently those weeks.
This is seriously my favorite Vocaloid song ever. From the first note to the heartfelt lyrics to the explosive beat, I just can’t get enough of it. Fukase just sounds so amazing here, and his English is incredibly clear! Plus, this song is very sentimental to me because it inspired many of my headcanons for Fukase (like the imaginary friend thing). I JUST LOVE IT SO MUCH OKAY
Song 7: “HYPERDONTIA” feat. flower by GHOST and Creep-P (Eyeris)
Warning---this song contains foul language and flashing lights. I’m including a clean version without the strobe effects, but be careful searching for it on your own.
I’m not one for creepy songs, so I haven’t listened to many of either GHOST’s or Creep-P’s songs, but this one definitely got my attention! I love the heavy beat, and flower’s Engrish is awesome! She sounds so stressed out, and the song’s entire vibe is just so intense and menacing but still pumped up. I just kinda wish it wasn’t so repetitive at times.
Song 8: “RE:SOUND” feat. MIRIAM by vio☆
Wow, I guess I listen to a lot of vio☆ songs, too, huh….? They and Puffihn are my favorite MIRIAM producers---they just make her sound so beautiful! I love how this song sounds completely different from “WANDERER”, even down to MIRIAM’s tuning. I also can’t get enough of the backwards-effect-thing used in the beginning of the song---I love fun effects like that! This song is just so peaceful yet somewhat melancholy; I believe it might be about MIRIAM being retired (or, at least, that’s my interpretation).
Song 9: “Sea For You” feat. Yuezheng Ling and KYO (as Yuezheng Longya) by Coin Music Studio
I never, ever talk about her, but Yuezheng Ling really has the voice of a high-pitched angel. She’s just so lovely and happy here---this song is so peaceful and heartfelt that I wanna cry! This is yet another example of a song that gradually builds, really emphasizing the lovely lyrics and vocals. Ahhh~
Song 10: “Things I Want You to Hear” feat. Hatsune Miku by nekobolo
The usual relaxing song to wrap things up. I just love how sweet and soft Miku sounds here, and she perfectly expresses the feeling of wanting to reach out to someone or feel something deeper but inexplicably being unable to say anything. I love the guitar part here, and the instrumentals in general are just so well done and really enrich the song’s message.
Thanks for reading!!
