Loriloid and Loreloid

Alright, although these are my W.I.P. Utaus, I'm gonna do this for the endless #myownvocaloid event.

Let's start with Loriloid since she was the first of the two (though her character should be younger than Loreloid)

LORILOID

Loriloid is designed to look more like me. Her voice is my natural but pop style voice. Her character is supposed to have an odd obsession with Hatsune Miku, but be in denial that she is a weeaboo since she doesn't watch anime. She has pink hair. She's supposed to be cute and stuff. She's slightly younger than Loreloid.

LORELOID

Their names are extremely close, but I didn't want to get rid of Lori since she was my original Utau, and I didn't want to change that. I also chose Loreloid, because it's closer to my FULL name, Lorelei, and a Lorelei is basically a German siren, which is basically a mermaid who seduces sailors with their beautiful voices and sinks them. She just doesn't appear to be dark because if she was, seducing someone would be way harder, since they'd know you were up to no good.

Anyway, Loreloid has the deeper, more mature and womanly voice than Loriloid. Her voice is also probably more of something you'd hear in a choir than a pop song.

Why should they be Vocaloids?

Well, Lori's voice is unique compared to pretty much everyone's, and Lore would be a mermaid. I mean, who else is a mermaid Vocaloid? Like, shouldn't that be a thing since mermaids sing??? Anyway, once I record their VBs tonight, I'll be sure to link some covers as soon as they are complete. :)
