CURATORS? | WHO WE ARE

Well, the long-awaited post about curators is finally out. So aay guys, Panda here, and finally with the rest of the curation team !

We’re super excited to finally be officially announced to you guys with titles and everything, so hopefully you’re as excited to find out about who we are (;

Most people on Amino know the whole curator deal by now. But, as there are some new faces on Amino, I shall explain what curators are, and what we do *^*.

Curators are s who volunteer their time and energy to make the app look great. We have the ability to remove/add blogs to the Featured Feed (FF), urgent review posts (think of it as a powerful flag), and help engage the community through midweek and weekend events :sparkles: .

Although we will generally not deal with general community drama (unless it’s extremely bad), we also act as a good resource for app questions !! We know a lot about the community, and are friendly s who would be happy to answer your questions ~^~. And although not always necessary, we are able to get into with s from Amino/Narvii directly, so if you need to a Mod asap, we’re good at middlemanning those things as well^^.

w h y   u s ?

The curation recruitment process can be different depending on each time, and the app its on. So, we were chosen as curators before the app ever launched.

About a week before the launch date, an application was put up calling for curators on Anime Amino. Many people applied, but we eventually got narrowed down to the seven s you’ll see in a bit (including myself).

It took us about a week to get titles, because we wanted to make sure that the curators who were chosen we’re proper up for the task, and now that the time is up we’re finally ready to be announced (;

I could probably be rich if I got paid for every time someone this week has asked me to be a curator//how to become one. The answer finally issss...

There you have it ! However, with the app growing so much in such a short amount of time, who knows when we’ll need more curators? If you’re interested, all I can say for now is to stay active in the community, and pray to the VOCALOID Gods that you’ll be accepted when we eventually open up recruitment again *^*.
