Shades Of Love - Writing

Two lovers with hearts made of porcelain frolic through fields of daisies as they watch vibrant shades of gold, pink, and purple take over the sky. They laze about among the blooming flowers, taking in their fresh scent, and wish the sky would grow less dark. The hues of gold turn to bronze, the pink turns to burgundy, and the purple turns to grey. What a depressing sight for young hearts in love who's dreams are filled with sunshine.

To these lover's relief, another day will come, but again another day will with the same dreary beauty. To look on the bright side, they must get through the dark. Lighting candles and guiding each other by hand, each day they fall in love again. With each other occupying their thoughts first thing when their sleepy minds awaken, the last thing when their tired eyes escape to the land of dreams, and almost every thought in between.

To watch that sun set day after day, they are reminded that to keep their love alive, they must endure cold nights alone and acknowledge the various colors of their affections. The red hot ionate nights in bed with ragged breathing and sweat. The sweet lilac of lounging around and simply enjoying each other's silent company. The bright yellow of going on adventures and exploring local parks and drinking coffee from the best cafes in town. They must tend to each shade of their love diligently and maintain the balance or else their masterpiece of love will fall victim to ruin; become a bitter semblance of a previous beauty.
