I wanted your opinions on whether we should go back to privating the community. The constant bots does not really seem to be worth it, having it open isn’t making it any more active than it was.
Thoughts?

I havnt seen a single bot, u must be doing a darn good job then
I agree on making the community private it can helpful maybe
So long as the incoming requests are proactively being reviewed to let in the people who are real and want to — I think making the community private would be a good idea to crack down on bots and such.
I don't know what the practices were before, I didn't even really notice when it was made private haha. But that's just my opinion on the matter!
This^^
I feel like you should keep the community open. Yeah, the bots can be annoying, but honestly, I’ve kind of gotten used to them since they’re pretty much everywhere now. Even if you make it private, with how advanced tech is getting, bots might still find a way in (I know it sounds crazy, but who knows). At the end of the day, it’s your choice, but I think keeping it open could be good so more people can . :)
that is true that it’s just …. A thing on amino in general

Ohh okay, I get it now. Honestly, I think keeping communities open is a good idea. I used to be in this TVD community, and they made it private to stop bots. But after that, I had to wait days just to get accepted, and it kind of made me not want to go back. Even when I followed the rules and typed the like they asked, I still got denied for no reason. It was really discouraging. So yeah, in general, I think open communities are better.
I vote in favor of the motion
