Lunaria's Disappearance - short story

I have decided that it is time to bring Lunaria to an end. I will be deleting all kingdom posts later tonight. I don't want my kingdom to have an abrupt downfall, but rather a peaceful ending. So I've decided to put together this short story to help my kingdom do that.

  Lunaria, the kingdom of the evening sky, reflecting the moon's light upon its peaceful inhabitants as they slowly make their way home. Tired smiles on their facses as the day comes to an end. Some are herbalists, some are warriors, some are seamstresses, and some are magicians, but one thing remains common between them all: they are Lunarians. They are a peaceful people who have an appreciation for the moon, her stars, and her domain. The kingdom, though cold in climate, is warm with love and harmony. It flourishes more and more everyday.

   Due to Lunaria's success, Hecate, the goddess of the moon and magic, feels pride and joy for what it's become. And because of this pride and joy, she fears that Lunaria will be a likely target for invasion from other kingdoms. Hecate, in a moment of love and fear, decided to take Lunaria far away and hide it from the world. She never told a soul or star where she hid it.

   However, because she hid Lunaria, she felt it only fair to offer the beloved people to either become stars in the sky, or remain in the Kingdom to help take care of it. Most inhabitants decided to become stars, but a few remained in their homeland, unwilling to let it go. Hecate ired their devotion to Lunaria, so she swore to protect and provide for those who stayed behind.

   Others, wanting a chance to explore the world instead of becoming stars or remaing in Lunaria, decided to leave. Where they go, they do not know-- but they know that Hecate shall shelter and guide them wherever they travel. Hecate, wanting to protect her people, gave each traveler an enchanted torch to light they're path. She said her farewells and gave her blessings to the travelers.

  Queen Moon, being cherished and favored by the goddess, was offered to become a most beautiful constellation where all the people in the land of Lunaria, and the rest of the kingdoms could ire her. She accepted this honor graciously and knew that even from the heavens, she could look after her kingdom accompanied by her people who became singular stars.
