I open my eyes to a white room,
Its walls indiscernable from its edges.
A sphere, but not quite.
There's a hole, a blackness that envelops the whole;
A three dimensional inevitability, with neither a beginning, nor an end,
Swallowing up all it reaches,
Leaving behind nothing.
The light returns, a structured building surrounding me
White stairs, white counters, a white second-story balcony looking down on me
The anomaly
I stand; a pulling sensation, a coaxing silence, as I go down the hallway
There is a room at the end, its walls separated by sharp lines.
A chest sits alone at the far end.
I near it.
I crouch down.
Murmurs fill the room, inaudible conversations by undefinable faces.
No; I strain my ears.
"Open it."
Something's wrong.
"Open it."
I stand up.
"Open it."
I murmur my response: no.
Something is watching.
Something is watching, something is seeing—
Something is coming.
It nears and nears; the murmurs fall silent, their gazes drop to the empty hall behind— But not empty for long. I stand, but I refuse to look; there's no need to. They look for me, and I see it; a shadow, a formless shape, as dark as nothing, and yet with eyes like burning coals, beckoning, commanding me;
I turn, and the light engulfs me. Collectively we fall, like waves, crashing lifeless against the ground, only to be absorbed by the sand below. Only, I am not absorbed. I cannot escape. It towers above me, knowing that I
Am not an anomaly.

Whoops. I thought of just straight up copy and pasting the dream that I wrote down, but that sounded kinda boring, so I tried to write something instead. Though I don't really know what it is because it feels like a mess— But then again, that whole dream was a mess so I guess it makes sense—
