It’s been a while since I posted hasn’t it :pensive: I want to apologize for that fist because I deeply regret not being as on top of things lately. However, today is an extremely special day - today is our 600th day together with Victon!! :tada: how can it already be almost two years with these boys when it’s gone by in such a flash?

When thinking about what I should post for their 600th day, there was only one original idea I could think of:

Share my story when I ‘met’ Victon on After School Club!!

I wanted to be able to share this memory on their special 600th day, partially because I’ve been asked about it so much :sweat_smile: , but most importantly because it was one of the most memorable moments in my life. I really want to be able share it with fellow Alices too~

Wow. This is one post I never thought I would make :joy: I really was live on ASC? So that really happened and wasn’t just a dream??

It all started when I decided to apply for Victon’s ASC hangout session, only after so many of my Alice friends encouraged me (it’s all down to them or else I wouldn’t have even gotten up the courage to do it!).

From the moment I sent it in I kept getting anxious thoughts, imagining what it would be like to actually talk to the boys. At one point I was so nervous just thinking about it that I was almost hoping I wouldn’t get the email. I was convinced I would mess it up or freeze on live tv...or even worse, cry on live tv in front of Victon :joy:

But then got the email @.@. I couldn’t believe it??

For a minute I couldn’t even process it and then when it finally hit me- I may have jumped around a little (or maybe a lot :sweat_smile: ) and yelled because I couldn’t believe it might actually happen, I might really be able to speak to them after ing them for so long and watching them grow from afar.

But this fate was not sealed yet, because I still needed to an interview and call test with an ASC staff member.

All the candidates met up in a live call for the interview. Here I met so many Alices that I knew, including the cutest and sweetest Ysabell!! I guess I really do know half the fandom, because there was only one Alice I didn’t recognize out of the 7 chosen possible candidates :joy:

The interview took place and we went over how we would introduce ourselves and what we would say, as well as tested our mics, video and internet. (The ASC lady was so scary @.@) we kept being told that we needed to make our introductions shorter and that we were supposed to use up only 10 seconds of airtime each. 10 seconds!! How could I possibly fit my whole message and all my love in 10 seconds?

In summary I lied a bit and cut some out during the interview so that she would accept it, but still planned on telling the whole thing to Victon (I’m a bad influence) :sweat_smile: :sweat_smile:

It was the ASC lady who actually told me to use the word Amino in my script because she liked the idea of me telling them that I run (several) fan communities for them!!

Finally the interview was done and we all just waited for the email to confirm which 5 out of the 7 Alices interviewed would be chosen for the actual ASC episode.

In our nervous vigil of waiting for the email, I decided to have fun decorating a space in my room for Victon :joy:

And then suddenly I heard the email notification come in and with shaking hands I opened it- and...I GOT IN!!! :flushed:

I felt a huge rushing mixture of relief, panic and excitement all at once, and I must it I jumped up and down a bit again :see_no_evil:

By the time I got over receiving the email long enough to try and sleep it was 6am for me.

The entire next day I was so anxious that when I thought about talking to Victon later that night I couldn’t concentrate on anything else :cold_sweat:

The email required us to arrive 3 hours earlier than the ASC episode so that we could test our mics and our lines again. But for most of the time us 5 candidates just hung out in the muted video call, which turned out to be we really fun actually.

Waiting was one of the most nerve-wracking things I’ve ever gone through and by the time the episode was about to begin (1am my time) I even feeling like I would be sick from shaking so much.

Then...the episode started playing and my heart almost beat out of my chest. After a few minutes of Jae and Jimin talking Victon came in! It all felt so unreal as I watched them draw closer to the moment when they would introduce us fans.

I kept chanting “I’m up next, im up next” in my head, fully aware that I felt like I was going to have a panic attack live on air

Then suddenly it was my turn, and I saw my own (very tired looking) face staring back at me from the live feed of ASC and Victon was smiling and waving at Me @.@

At that moment something strange happened, I felt my anxiety loosen a little because I realized in one swoop that Victon were happy to see me? I didn’t have to be afraid because no matter what I said and even if I messed up? They would be so happy just to hear from me. And that was the most heartwarming feeling that allowed me to unstick my throat and begin introducing myself.

Though I rehearsed the words so much the moment I said hi and Victon actually greeted me in return, waving energetically, and Chan shouted “Vickeybong!!” I was caught so off guard that I felt my soul leave me (you can literally see the moment on screen :joy: )

My first priority was to tell them that Alices would never leave them, no matter how long their hiatus or what concepts they came back with...but it was a tight fit to squeeze in everything I wanted to say :joy: I kept saying “and” while I brought up more things I wanted to tell them. (i really hope I didn’t come off as annoying omg :cold_sweat: I was still dying from nerves )

At one point I really felt like I made eye with them and I Hanse sending me little finger hearts...and that’s when my mind went blank and I froze for a moment because I was so overwhelmed @.@ in the replay it didn’t look too bad but in my mind I felt like I was stuck for a while minute before I recovered my words and finished speaking :sweat_smile:

I knew my time on air was coming to a quick end, so before I could even think about it I just blurted out- “I love you chan!!!”

AND CAN YOU BELIEVE HE ANSWERED “I love you too!!” RIGHT AWAY? He smiled so much, and in that moment I seriously died. (Pt. 2 of my soul leaving me)

(but I cut Jimin off a little while she was translating..I’m so sorry Jimin :weary: )

I think my heart stopped a bit and I’m glad I didn’t have to say anything else except for “bye!!” or I would have frozen on air again :joy:

All in all, my ten seconds of live time was accidentally extended to a minute because I was so excited trying to get all my message out 🤦🏻‍♀ however I don’t think the boys were angry about that, they really really seemed so happy to be able to talk to all of us :sob:

I watched the rest of the episode in complete shell-shock at what had just happened, but ended up laughing and enjoying it so much with the rest of the Alices I was on call with. In the end I wasn’t chosen for the hangout question segment (Ysabell was, I’m still so happy for her!!! :sob: :sob: ) but I’m almost glad for that because I would have cried for sure.

Then suddenly...it was all over! And I celebrated with Alices for several more hours :joy:

WOW THAT REALLY HAPPENED??? I ALMOST CRIED?? I CANT BELIEVE IT.

✧ So, happy 600th Day Victon!!! ✧

Ever since Victon’s debut I have spent at least half my day on them (sometimes more :joy: ). This Amino is a big part of my life and all my friends are Alices as well.

I’m so deep in this fandom, it’s truly one of the best things that’s ever happened to me

@.@ I’m so so lucky to have been able to speak with then and I could never take it for granted for a second. Just from speaking to Victon for a minute through a screen I could still feel how genuine their love for Alices is. We really such a kind loving group that tears us all, international or k-Alices alike, as a family. Meeting them like this has only made me want even more to meet them face to face someday, and them with my whole heart because they truly deserve it.

I hope every Alice gets to experience the same one day soon, it’s what everyone deserves ;-;

Finally we’ve reached the end of this very long post~ if you made it to here I’m really impressed :joy:

I waited to make this post until their 600th day because I wanted to be able to show the signed Time of Sorrow album that I won as a prize through ASC!! But it still hasn’t arrived, I’m going on make a second post about it when it does :see_no_evil: (I’m SO EXCITED for it)

After being on a semi-hiatus for a bit I really need to get back into the rhythm of posting!? Hopefully you’ll see more of me around now as we will be making new staffing changes and advancing the amino to make it more active~
