Hello, it’s been awhile since my last post. We have been working out of a mobile clinic now for almost 3 months. Our old clinic is gone and the new construction is about to begin. This week we had a TNR spay and a toe amputation. The spay was rather routine. The other surgery was a toe amputation due to an injury and the dog’s constant chewing of the injury. This happened to his other dewclaw which also resulted in an amputation. Also I have pictured the oxygen unit in the mobile used during surgeries. It actually takes room air, separates the oxygen from the air and uses the oxygen for the patient under anesthesia. No oxygen tank required.

Pros of working in a mobile clinic:

Everything is in reach

You get very familiar with coworkers

Cons

The standing

The lack of space for supplies
