Clover is a strong willed character, not to mention, toxic. Clover was born in hell, as a hellhound. Her main intention was to be raised, and spend eternity guarding the gates of hell, and punishing those around her. She was frequently mentally abused by her parents, and those around her, and was raised in a severely toxic environment. This would have no positive effect on her as she grew up. At age 1019 (roughly 18 in a human comparison), she was forced to enter to realm of the living, and experience life first hand. This was a supposed punishment from hell for refusing to live out her life duties. Despite this, she was more then happy to entire the living realm, but was left with severe mental complications from her life in the hellish realm.
