Use positive affirmations and/or mantras. What is the difference? An affirmation is a word or phrase that helps you overcome negative or self-sabotaging thoughts, they assist in visualizing and creating positive changes. EXAMPLE - ‘I am strong, motivated, and courageous’. Mantras are generally used during a spiritual devotional practice. A mantra is something you may chant during your meditation. I use Mantras to recenter myself if something happens throughout the day and need a moment to collect myself and thoughts I may repeat if I am stressed out I may repeat ‘What I focus on I create. Positive or negative, it’s up to me. I am creating my reality.’

Greeting the Sun in the morning is a great way to start your day. Sun Salutations are a great stretching, flexing, and toning exercise for your muscles - it also help in relaxing the mind. Sun Salutation also gives us the opportunity to express our gratitude to the sun. The sun is vital for life on Earth to thrive. You can also express gratitude for many more things as you go through the movements - be grateful for the new day, be grateful for your body, anything we may take for granted regularly. What are Sun Salutations? A series of yoga postures pictured below.
