**How to recall dreams**
1. talk to yourself the night before-tell self you will in the morning.
2. Write down dreams in a normal so you can look up meanings/symbols.
3. Review journal and dreams at bedtime to cue mind.
4. Don't move, stay in sleep position when wake.
5. Meditate-clear mind
6. Be patient
-ing can be triggered by things during the day
-change of environment can trigger recall
-wake earlier or sleep longer
-drugs/alcohol affect dream memory-interfere with sleep cycle
-extra sleep is best for dream recall
**keeping a dream journal**
-keep it next to you while sleeping
-date each page, take note of characters, settings, symbols, time(period), actions, reactions-anything important
-write in present tense-helps jog memory
-add a title
-focus on symbolism, settings, characters
-everything is symbolic
*house-can symbolize life or body
*cars-where you're going/want to be in life
*games-tell stories of effort/how to improve
-every so often how through journal and list out settings and meaning and try to find meanings for ones without..

Hospital-work on yourself, fix something, healing
Spaceship-mystery, exploration, cosmic experience
Church-spiritual life, God, authority
New home-new phase of life
Home improvement store-personal improvement
Gas station-motivation, energy
Amusement park-things done for amusement, humor
Clothing store-persona, public image

-Can be people you know
-can rep parts of yourself
-characters expression fluid stand for dreamers feelings
-same is true for qualities and behaviors in dreams
**how to interpret**
1.think of dreams as told from unconscious mind that show you things about self or life
2.look for obvious signs
3.dreams take thugs from lady few days of life that you might have missed
*dreams exaggerate voices in head
*feelings in dreams are key-often conflict between head and heart
*nightmares can be caused by poor diet/indigestion-eat healthy and not before bed
*how to know interpretation is on target

Once you have all this down and learn to interpret dreams and apply to life try dream control (lucid dreaming)-becoming aware you're dreaming while in Dream
**how to know it's a dream white dreaming**
-Ask self if scene is real or not
-count fingers
-reach for item you always have such as coin, jewelry, key Or purse/wallet
-train mind to recognize dreaming by what feels right to you
Seeing/features can symbolize the body, health, needs or body image
Ex-buildings, landmarks, vehicles, hills, trees
-specific areas of body-
Waterside-throat
Fluid pump-heart
Balloon-lungs
Settings in Dream
Roof/top floor-head area
Basement/plumbing-bowels
Tree branches-legs/arms
Areas symbolize
Feet/foundation-movement in life, willingness
Legs-ability to make progress
Hips-balance, openness, destiny
Stomach-but instincts, digestion, where anxieties are felt
Back-something unseen, unaware,begins you, burdens, responsibilities
