Daily Tarot Reading

:crystal_ball: Daily Tarot Spread :sparkles:

Divination is one of my favorite aspects of my craft. Rune stones were my introduction to Divination. They are still my favorite type, but I also like to explore with my other Divination tools. Recently I have been trying to do at least one draw a day, usually a simple one card reading. Today I decided I wanted to do a slightly more in depth reading. For this I chose to do a 4 card, Body, Heart, Mind, Spirit, reading.

I have been doing my daily readings using The Wild Unknown Tarot by Kim Krans. This Tarot deck is beautiful. I love the designs for each card, and the back card design is beautiful as well. I felt a connection with this deck when I first saw it, but was hesitant due to its price. After awhile of looking at other decks and continuing to be drawn back to this one, I made the leap and purchased it. I could not be happier with my decision to bring this deck into my life. I feel like I really connect with each card that comes up during my readings. When not in use this deck has a permanent place on my altar, and I place a piece of rose quartz on top of it to protect its energies.

Body, Heart, Mind, Spirit

1) The Body - The Sun

VITALITY, ENLIGHTENMENT

Imagine for a moment that you’re soaking in the warm rays of the sun. It feels nourishing and healing; all your aches and pains just fade away. The sun card brings this amazing energy into your life. Vitality and health abound, while you feel assurance and clarity in all you do. Spend some extra time outside today, be grateful for the radiance of the sun and the life force it gives all creatures.

2) The Heart - Ace of Cups

LOVE’S BEGINNINGS

Aces mark the beginning of exciting new phases. Since the suit of cups deals specifically with love and emotion, you’re in for a real treat. Expect to enter a blissful time of health, joy, and friendship. A new love could be on the horizon. You may feel that you’re making a whole new start... just go with it and allow this feeling to revitalize your spirit.

3) The Mind - The World

WHOLENESS, COMPLETION

The World is the final card in the journey of the Major Arcana. It signifies completion, harmony, and contentment. It’s rare to experience this energy, as we are usually consumed by wanting, needing, and achieving. So when this card appears, contemplate for a moment the idea of “being whole.” Focus on the image on the card... close your eyes and envision this radiating energy inside you. What does it feel like? Where is it located? What blocks you from feeling a sense of “wholeness” each and every day of your life?

4) The Spirit - The Moon

VIVID DREAMS AND FEARS

In many ways the Moon card encomes the idea of The Wild Unknown. It is the shadow realm, the place where dreams, fears, and mysteries are born. Much darkness can linger here, and if you aren’t careful, this can lead to periods of anxiety and self-doubt... almost as though you’ve lost your way in a house of mirrors. Many great artists have roamed this inner landscape it’s where imagination and creativity drift freely upon the midnight air.

This was a draw unlike any I’ve had before. That being said, I feel like it was extremely accurate. Tarot interpretations can be very personal, but I can say that these cards gave me the insight I was looking for. Every reading I’ve done with this deck has felt extremely accurate. The connection I have with this deck strengthens each time I use it, and that is one of the benefits to doing a daily reading. If you’re just starting out with tarot or have a new deck, I highly recommend doing a daily reading. Even if it is just a simple one card reading, handling your deck every day will strengthen your connection with it.
