MOMO Challenge.

If you receive a message from "Momo," and you don't know what to do, TELL YOUR PARENTS and COME to the Staff. Although we're here to moderate this community, you're here automatically as a member under guardians. Therefore, we're here not to just curate a community, but to help the in it if they need it. Allow us to help you through this and anything else, because that's why we're here.

SECOND DISCLAIMER : Please do not spam the community with "Momo this Momo that!" It is unnecessary after I make this post SPECIFICALLY because it doesn't deserve to be introduced anymore to this community than simply THIS PSA / DISCUSSION POST. Please understand this if you post anything concerning Momo topics, one huge warning up for a week (this one) is good enough, and it gets the message across. Although I love your , it here, but don't promote it in individual content and say the exact same stuff I just stated here. Otherwise it will be disabled (I'll leave the content up of it before my PSA was posted, but if you make it after mine, it will be disabled. That is fair).

The Momo challenge is an issue that gets children to preteens to anyone naive enough to believe it, to enact horrible challenges.

These challenges include cutting, violent attacks and suicide.

This is not a joke. As Momo is horrific to the eyes to anyone and especially more younger people (since it's targeting a younger audience, E.I,. you guys), it's goal is to make you afraid enough of "Momo" to where you'll act out on your fears.

Step one : If you receive a message, if it has actual information about you or even a correct photo of you, this is NOT "Momo." Momo is NOT real. However, kids getting into this ARE. If you receive true information such as who you are, where you live, your face, back, etc,. CALL THE POLICE. Do not message Momo back, IGNORE the message(s) and take screenshot(s) for proof to the police about this. Tell the police everything about it.

But know that Momo is NOT REAL. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO FEAR MOMO.

Momo is a face plastered onto a horrific challenge meant to SCARE you into doing BAD things. What if another kid screwing around with this decides to mess with you? Maybe for some petty pathetic Middle School revenge, drama? I know many of you are younger and most of you aren't even in highschool. I'm going to cut the sugarcoating and spit it out, you guys have a load of drama and in your own age group, most of you aren't even mature enough to understand that this is NOT a game. I'm not saying specifically YOU are not mature, but your schoolmates in an age group (if you're under highschool) are probably idiotic enough to use the Momo challenge as a weapon to get you to hurt yourself.

So don't do it. Be stronger than what you're afraid of.

Answer :

#1 : LEAVE IT. Block "Momo."

#2 : SCREENSHOT IT.

#3 : Tell your parents immediately and tell the Police.

#4 : Make sure you don't walk alone, but rather in a public area.

#5 : Be extra alert. At the same time, know the Momo challenge truly is all a cruel prank.

#6 : Don't fall for crap like this. It's honestly all complete BS. And although some children have acted on it, you SHOULDN'T. It's unnecessary and it doesn't do you any good to allow some person pretending to be "Momo" to be controlling your actions for the worse of your life. Even ending your life.

Therefore, EXACTLY like chainmail (except not this dark— For the most case), and other challenges like the Blue Whale challenge,

DO NOT act out on it. IT IS A CRUEL TRICK TO GET YOU TO HURT YOURSELF. BE STRONGER AND GET GUARDIANS, STAFF AND POLICE INVOLVED.
