Chapter One

The Lone Boy and Hellhound, pt 1

Veer woke up, drenched in sweat. He had the same dream- well, most like a nightmare or Flashback-. It was of the time his mother had hurt the leaders son, Glitch, He never liked his mother due to her overprotective self and how she treated him like a baby, and he wanted to be treated like his actual age. His full forest green eyes darted around the place excitedly, he now had an idea of sneaking out and away from the group.

He slowly and quietly got up, his mother had a dear skin draped over him when he was sleeping 'Shes a Bitch, an overprotective one at that' he growled inside his mind, he glared at his mother -whom was in the corner of the den- and turned away, walking out "What are you doing, sneaking out at this time?" A familiar Raspy and almost dead sounding voice grumbled "Stroke....What are you doing staying up this late" Veer questioned, his eyes cautiously studied The appearance of Stroke, they were a tall and thin wolf with white fur, purple and Orange eyes looked down at Veer "I have The Night guarding tonight" They grumbled, their white fur glistened in the moonlight and their two colored eyes shined but yet showed tiredness. His ears flicked, feeling like he was overpowered by Stroke and yet he had many powers himself he hadn't known of "Oh....Alright then" Veer responded calmly, his head hung low and eyes now dull

Stroke just sighed and sat down, their eyes closed and ears flattened "So...Your trying to escape...You know how Onhandig shall react, she'll panic and-" Stroke had started saying but then Veer finished for them "And then blame literally everyone in this group, I know...She's just too much for me" Veer murmured, his eyes still dull, now suddenly finding the ground interesting "...Go ahead, you leave this place" Stroke offered "Wh-" "I've seen how your treated, your overwhelmed by her constant ways of treating you. If you want, leave" Stroke finished, their eyes softened up and then with a single breath of air and a blink of an eye from Veer, Stroke was gone, nowhere to be found in his line of Sight.
