Hey fellow Trans people who dislike having "male" genitalia!

I've been have a lot of bottom disphoria and it keeps getting worse. I'm trying to get HRT rn but booking an appointment has been annoying so I plan on getting bottom surgery maybe after like 3 to 6 months on HRT "graduation present maybe lol". How could I deal with it in the meantime?

I can't exactly relate as I'm FTM. I started testosterone a year and a bit ago I'm in general a lot more comfortable with my body and in myself despite few physical changes, but I used to have relatively severe bottom dysphoria. I'm at a point now in which I don't entirely even mind if I get bottom surgery in the future.

Our cases are quite different and these few things may not work for you but they helped me. Or, the opposite of some helped me. Sorry if I'm crossing any boundaries, I just hope maybe some of this might help because I know it can get really bad at times.

Packing, or...tucking. Just having that bit of presence there often helped even if it was a bit uncomfortable at times and did cause chafing at times. Possibly having it less in sight, with less of a presence between your legs could help? If you do currently or tuck in the future, be careful and make sure it's done safely.

Uhh warning for nsfw?

Changing how you masturbate(if you do). I can't say much, everyone is different and this...is amino. Just minor things, adding sensations elsewhere alongside where you normally would to focus more on that but still get that bit of relief. Experimenting with yourself to see what might make you more comfortable. Even if you just at times do motions that might not yet work for you while doing others that do work. Which..sounds really stupid but when I was younger that helped.

Also, shaving. It's typically seen as a feminine thing to do and stopping frequently cutting or shaving my body hair helped me like...a lot. I just wanna be a fluffy fella, also made me feel a bit more masc. Having hair there is also completely fine, it's natural and plenty of women don't shave, just whatever makes you feel best about yourself<3

These last two are...things that if people initially said to me, I would have been murderous. They may not be what you want to hear.

1) Try to be more comfortable with yourself in general. You're you no matter what. No matter what genitalia you have, you are still you and you're still amazing. It doesn't make you less trans, it doesn't change anything. However, if it's a more rooted dysphoria than just deep insecurity...

2) Look forward to the future. I know it can be hard, but you're young. A year might seem like a lot but it won't take long to . The day you can get the surgery(or surgeries) you want will be here one day and that's great. It's a day that will come, even if it takes a little while. There'll be a day in which you feel comfortable in your own skin, a day in which your outward appearance will match your inner feelings.

I can say for certain: your outward appearance definitely matches your inner beauty, you are a gorgeous person and you deserve all the best>:))

I don't really have difficulty seeing myself as feminine

I just really don't like having it.

Tucking is difficult cause it get way too many random erections and tucking is very painful in that scenario

I have found a comfortable way to play with myself that involves little interaction with it (I don't think I should be more specific here)

Thanks for your ideas though!

Apparently I have to wait a year after starting HRT to get bottom surgery so I need to deal with it for longer
