Environment:

Tappava Kauneus's(Also known as Halcyon) environment is different from what it was during the initial settlement of the planet. It's original lush green forests, beautiful blue lakes and animal-filled meadows have been replaced with trees the colour of blood, disgusting anomaly filled swamps and sun-scorched barren hills full of wandering mutants and bandits. Even the mountain range to the north of the planet's main continent has had its beauty ripped from it and contorted into a bastardised version of what it was, with its snow-covered peaks emitting radiation worse than the remains of devices that caused the landscape to become this hell. Old vehicles, buildings and items dot the landscape, both IMC and civilian with most of their appearances rusted and contorted into weird shapes.

Backstory

First settled a few years before Yemore, Tappava Kauneus was one of those rare gems of a world that resembled Earth in many ways. Rich with resources dig sites and settlements started popping up across the planet eventually leading to the construction of a series of connected nuclear power plants which supplied power to nearly every settlement. Eventually, the military started setting up installations and research stations in the more remote areas of the planet which led to the discovery of an object that released an infinite amount of energy. Naturally, the scientists decided to experiment with the object which led to the accidental exposure to the planet's power grid. This accident caused the object to explode...twice and causing all the Nuclear Reactors across the planet to go into meltdown releasing waves upon waves of radiation around the planet. The second explosion dispersed the radiation to certain areas while also creating numerous chemical, heat, electro, gravitational and other types of anomalies to start cropping up across the planet. A large majority of the population succumbing to their deaths either the radiation or the anomalies. However, some endured and eventually thrived on this now backwards planet, building homes and bases out of the husks of the old while fighting each other just to gain a bit of money to survive.

Humans weren't the only creatures to survive the object's reshaping of the land. Previously tamed animals like dogs and pigs mutated into grizzly versions of what they were, hostile to anyone and anything who they come across. Creatures born via abhorrent experiments performed in the research stations now also roam the land, now unshackled and free from the restraints that used to bind them. Some of these resemble humans albeit malformed and overflowing with resentment towards true humans. Then there are creatures that nobody knows who or what they were before the incident, the most prominent example of these creatures being the so-called "Vampires" that inhabit the swamps and some of the old military installations on the planet. On top of all that, there are rumours of devices that can and have fried the brains of people who go near them. These "Zombified Humans" have very little motor functions left and they only use it to operate the weapons they had when they were zombified.

Due to the constant threat that the mutants and anomalies pose towards any attempts at mining ore on the planet, the IMC has given up on all attempts at obtaining the minerals deep within the planet. However, because the anomalies produce rare extraordinary artifacts that possess weird effects on a semi-regular basis which collectors and scientists pay handsomely for. These artifacts have caused an influx of interest in the planet with people across the Frontier coming to the planet to make quick cash.
