Skarodex: Are we rolling, GR?

GR: Affirmative, Pilot Nomad.

Skarodex: Good. Uhhh, where to begin..? Right. Hello old and new Pilots of The Frontier! Today marks 7 years since the initial release of what is by far one of my top favorite video games ever, Titanfall | 2. This series has had a really rough journey these past few years, but we persevered. As we always have, as we always will.

Now the best way to honor this anniversary would be to play the game, right? Unfortunately that isn't the case for me since I am currently in a different game universe that I've recently become interested in, which is in thanks to a colleague of mine from a very popular FPS franchise who I won't mention because (if memory serves or based upon my interpretation of that time) this community universe (or Amino, as it's also known as) is extremely strict when it comes to mentioning ANYTHING outside of its fandom... which is extremely stupid. Lighten up, for God's sake!

Anyway, so, what I've decided to do was at least listen to music which fans have created throughout the years to show my appreciation and dedication to this incredible game that deserved better than what was received. I had originally started out with one of my "universal playlists" but I then decided to include several musical selections which aren't directly tied to Titanfall although were still relevant based upon the inspiration. Tributes. Fan-made GMVs or Gaming Music Videos--

Note: I am telling this story as if I were speaking to the actual people of the Frontier, and I'm not trying to treat anyone like they're stupid. This is just how I roll when writing stories.

--which use songs or instrumentals that weren't originally intended for the purpose of being used as a video game music video but ended up being used because people thought it would fit with how they mashed whatever clips, videos, and trailers they could find from the Titanfall Universe.

As I was perusing my "collection", something in my recommendations came across my sight. A mashup, of two different Titanfall 2 Songs by two different artists and believe me, it works well together!

A Million Pounds For A Man And Machine MASHUP

The Mashup comprises of DEFMATCH's Titanfall 2 Rap Song Pt 2 "A Million Pounds" and TryHardNinja's Titanfall 2 Song "Man and Machine" feat. Lollia, which are two of my favorites! I've been listening to this on loop all day and thought 'this video ought to get more attention despite it being ed in 2019' along with thinking that this could be my only way of making a post--

GR: An excuse.

Skarodex: :unamused: --in celebration of Titanfall 2's 7th Anniversary.

(GR, did you really have to call me out like that?)

GR: I am merely speaking the truth from your subconsciousness.

Skarodex: ...🙄 :expressionless: Right, okay, whatever. Look, I couldn't really come up with anything truly and extraordinarily special but, to me, this was the next best thing rather than doing nothing! At least give me some credit for trying unlike other folks in general. Just know that I am not an original creator for any of the songs or the video, I'm just sharing it with all you lovely people.

And with that out of the way, I guess I should wrap this up. *claps hands together once* I really do love this game with all of being and my Pilot Girlfriend, the OC known as Nessie or Vivian M. Coulton, which was "created" by me and A Witness (GameTester) many years ago who represents my love for the franchise.

I definitely would like to share all of my ideas with GR's arsenal, construct, and even personality some day but my creative talent has certainly dwindled since 2020. I'm super proud of my bud, Witness, for rewriting his Deserter stories (which I still have yet to read, sorry) because of the resurgence Titanfall 2 received this year! I only hope that we, as an entire community, can keep the spirit of Titanfall alive even when it seems like there is no hope or reason for trying.

Finally, happy birthday/anniversary to TITANFALL|2 and thank you for reading this post.

Until next time... *salutes*

Standby For Titanfall.

End communication.
