The Bright Banners was a Free Company operating near Qohor. Presumably, they had bright banners.

History:

Early in the Century of Blood, the Khalasar of Khal Temmo was advancing on Qohor. Therefore the Qohorik hired two Free Companies—the Bright Banners, and the Second Sons—to compliment their forces. In the first day of fighting, the Qohorik forces inflicted five thousand casualties, but the Dothraki shattered the Qohorik. In the face of hopeless odds, both Free Companies fled.
