Snakewood, alternatively called Sunkenwood, is the seat of House Lynderly. The castle stands on the southernmost of the fingers, on the mountainous northern shore of an unnamed bay on the Narrow Sea. Snakewood is in the Snakewood forest.

Nearby settlements are Coldwater Burn to the north, and Heart's Home to the southwest.
