⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Helena Baratheon was born in 95 AC to Brandeth Baratheon and Sanah York. She was born in the Stormlands at Evenfall, as her father is Lord of Evenfall. She was the middle child of five children, she had three brothers Orryn, Maxar and Jares and a sister, Alyssa. She wasn’t dark haired like the rest of her Baratheon relatives but her grandmother on her mother’s side had fire red locks, which had past to her. Her name was given to her because of how bright a baby she was. Helena’s origins: In mythology the abduction of Zeus's mortal daughter Helen sparked the Trojan War and in Greek it means the shining light, the bright one. Baratheon is a name meaning would mean "Barrier of/to/against the Gods" which makes perfect sense in connection to Storm's End and its legend. The Baratheons are one of the greatest houses in Westeros that is filled with rich history.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ House Baratheon of Storm's End is one of the Great Houses of Westeros, and is the principal house in the stormlands, which they rule as Lords Paramount of the Stormlands. Their seat, Storm's End, is an ancient castle raised by the Storm Kings from the now-extinct House Durrandon. The Baratheon sigil is a crowned black stag on a field of gold. of the family tend to be tall and powerfully built, with black hair and blue eyes, as well as strong, square jawlines. They are known for their mercurial tempers, and their words are "Ours is the Fury". During the Dance of the Dragons, Lord Borros Baratheon sided the House with Aegon II Targaryen and the greens, despite his late father, Lord Boremund's of the blacks and relation to Rhaenys Targaryen (through his sister, Jocelyn Baratheon). Prince Aemond Targaryen was sent to Storm's End, to get Lord Borros to side with Aegon II, by offering a betrothal between himself and one of Lord Borros' four daughters. It is unknown whether this marriage occurred prior to Aemond's death the next year. Lord Borros was reluctant to face the dragons during the war, but marched with his army towards the end of the war, seizing King's Landing for Aegon II during the Moon of the Three Kings, restoring the city to order. He was promised that his eldest daughter would marry King Aegon II, who had lost both his Queen, Helaena Targaryen, as well as both of his sons, during the war. Borros then marched against the approaching riverlander army, and fought in the Battle of the Kingsroad, where he was killed by young Lord Kermit Tully.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Helena is a benevolent, kind-hearted, fair and wise person. Helena was beloved by all her family and all people of the Stormlands. Some people describe her as a thorn on a rose, pretty but could sting. She is also confident, was very intelligent and feisty, funny, and determined. fun, and decisive. She is able to relate easily to people of all stripes and she’s very independent, happy to branch out on her own and explore. She’s brave, resilient,with a dry wit and a stubborn streak and adventurous nature (and more than a bit flirty) and while she may take a while to face her fears, she inevitably does so. Forceful at the best of times. She gladly puts her life on the line time and again to save them and she is fiercely protective of her close circle and vengeful towards those who took her away. People aren’t aware of the power she actually holds over anyone. She is rarely open with her feelings and often mistrustful and wary, but held people she cared for at arm's length especially her friends so she could keep her enemies close to her. As a child, Helena was stoic and independent as she was always casted aside as she was the middle child but her father saw that as making her stronger. This made her more observant of her surroundings.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Whilst counties, crowns, lords would fight, her tenacity, determination, ability to wait patiently, and to seize an opportunity cannot go without doubt. She made sure she was in the loop but nothing could trace her. She was skilled and ruthless when she needed to be. Helena charmed her way through court as she wanted to get her power and glory, she was amazing at doing so she put her smile on and got to work. For all her courtly schemes and intrigue, there is one thing that can be said of Helena Baratheon. She was always loyal and warmhearted with her female friends especially Rhaenyra. She was good at keeping herself in court but also ing her friend’s claim. She just wanted something if one side succeeded. She fought for what was rightfully hers. As she is intelligent she’s very scholarly and religious. Her decisions were made on what she could gain.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Helena was born to Brandeth and Sanah Baratheon, her grandfather was Lord Boremund Baratheon and her uncle was Borros Baratheon and her cousin was Rhaenys Targaryen. She was born in 95 AC on a stormy night in summer. She grew up with Alicent Hightower and Rhaenyra Targaryen. She was educated alongside them as well. Her mother was in court all the time due to her being a Lady for Aemma, who would eventually be Queen. She learnt from a young age she would have to be smarter than her brothers because her mother doted on them and so did her father. Her younger sister would also take advantage of her right to be a woman. Helena preferred to be in the sun of Kings Landing and she would hate whenever she had to go back to the wet lands of the Stormlands. Her father was also part of the councils, occasionally so she would learn about Politics in the capital. When Queen Aemma died alongside her child, she was there for her friend. She could sense the heartache she felt. She knew what Alicent was doing and confronted the Hightower on her meddling with the King. She knew the game she was playing. Helena knew she would have to play a bigger and better game. Like how she was already. Her brothers were dying like flies and her brother Orryn and her sister Alyssa were left. She never liked both of them.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Helena Baratheon in her later life would marry a high noble with a claim to the throne and she would ensure her child/children would be sat on the Iron Throne. She would make sure of that; especially with all the squabbling over it. She knew she’d have to control from within and gain a better hand at the council or the winning side. She wanted to be close to that amount of power as she could. Helena knew her ambition would cost but that didn’t mean she didn’t like her husband or care for her children. She just knew how to drive them to pursue what they wanted. The manners, courtly etiquette and patronages, she taught them the social structure of court and it wouldn’t matter who would sit on the Iron Throne. When her brother died, she made sure she was taking the position of Lady of Evenfall so she had something to her name as well as her husbands name and power.
