Eddison Tallett , is a grumpy squire of the Night's Watch. Latest in a large family , it appears to be from a poor branch lamaison Tallett. His continual recriminations, how thin and austere mine earned him the sobriquet of Edd-the-pain. Thus, he claims to have once lost a white horse in the snow, and thinks from his brothers suspect every lost object. Eddison is part of the expedition led by Lord Jeor Mormont beyond the Wall. He often teamed with Jon Snow. [1] After the departure of the latter with Qhorin Mimain in Crocgivre, it provides in its place the ADC functions Lord Mormont and Esquire.

Eddison survives the battle of the Fist of the First Men and is part of the survivors retreating to the mansion of Craster. After the murders of Craster and Lord Jeor Mormont, it brings together the dozen men of the Night's Watch remained faithful (including Bedwyck, Bernarr-on-black, Donnel Hill, Dywen Garth Plumegrise, Left Lou Goady, Grenn, Kedge white eye, Tim Stone and Ulmer) and takes over the new at castleblack retirement.
