after aemond targaryen and elyssa rivers died, aron celtigar was one of vaelor's strongest ers, eventually being the one to crown him. however, after vaelor's week-long failure of kingship, aron was shamed mercilessly, and his title of 'kingmaker' - once an honour - was now a sharp insult. aron found himself surrounded by criticism and mockery, and it whittled away at his confidence and pride until he became a recluse, spending much of his time on claw isle.
