Lady Agnes Blackwood was a member and the head of House Blackwood. She acted as the Lady of Raventree hall and has several sons.

"I have other sons. Raventree shall endure long after you and yours are cast down and destroyed. Your line shall end in blood and fire."

Lady Agnes was the head of House Blackwood during the time when King Harwyn Hoare, also known as Harwyn Hardhand, invaded the northern Parts of the Riverlands together with his men from the Iron Islands. Samwell Rivers, Bastard son of Lord Tully led the Riverland forces against them but their small army was crushed and destroyed by Harwyn on the Tublestone. After the defeat Lord Tommen Tully ed forces with Lady Agnes' men.

The two allies marched against Harwyn's invaders but the young woman's forces were attacked from behind by House Blackwood's rival Lothar Bracken. They took her as a prisoner and brought her and two of her sons to Harwyn who then proceeded to strange the two boys himself with his bare hands.

Harwyn offered Agnes to make her into a salt wife since she impressed him with her strenght and demeanor but Agnes rejected, stating that she would rather die. After these words she was stabbed and killed by him.

With the defeat of House Blackwood the Riverlands and their people stood no more chance against the Ironborn and their resistance failed. However did the Storm King Arrec Durrandon march against the invaders.
