Is he a Stark? An Umber, Bolton, Blackwood, Tully?

Just who was this man, and more importantly, who is/was he loyal to? Does he even come from a royal bloodline?

Is he still loyal? Does he still have his memory intact? What is on this man's mind?
What do U think?

If he were a stark why would he want to kill them, did they betray him or something if he were a stark?
Likely a Proto-Stark. It's perplexing because he does have more Lannister features
I think he was a Stark too. I'm thinking he needs a Night Queen as well? 🤷♀I really want to know more!
Yes Stark seems to be it but I'm very unsure about it bcuz wouldn't the realm know that there was a Stark Prince missing? Tbh that's why I made this post lol. Bcuz I always thought he was a Stark but we've never been told about any missing Stark other than Lyannas kidnapping
I think he was a stark

I think the Night king is a title the walkers give there leaders. On the show at least. Could be in the books to. Assuming there will be another Night king in the books since the first one is dead and gone grrm said in the books.

I agree. And in my opinion there has to be a mantle of Night King for the Walkers. For the NK creates the WWs, and he guides them all. Without a NK figure, the Army of Wights wouldn't be. The mantle of NK is that of a sheep herder, a Shepherd of the Wights. Without a NK, would Wights even exist?
I know the books are quite different, especially with the Others, but if they march on the Wall, and are assembled as an army, who else would assemble said army? As far as we know, the Walkers are the leaders, but Martin would nvr have his "big bad guy" to be as simple as the WWs being the true "villains" therefore there must be a centralized figure behind it all.
But yes, I 100% believe that in the books we will get a NK. But only in the sense that he/she is the face of the Others. The leader, the one who is rallying his troops.
