Dragonstone

On Dragonstone. The halls were quiet. Daemon stood by the painted table. His eyes fixed on King's Landing. Previously he had spoken to Jacaerys about their possibilities of storming it and with just dragons alone, The Greens wouldn't stand a chance. Though with them knowing that Lucerys was alive and being held there. An all out assault was not smart. Not if they wanted him alive. He had a feeling that at the first sight of an assault. Aemond himself would kill Lucerys. Soon Jace landed and immediately made his way into the hall. He glanced at Daemon before walking over to him. “What is it Daemon?” He asked him.

“I fear that if we do not get Lucerys back soon. They will use him as an example. This war of words for the throne will not last much longer I fear” Daemon would look at Jacaerys as he entered the room for a moment. “It’s really Obvious Daemon.” Jacaerys responded, he frowned as he thought of his little brother in the green’s custody. “Maybe use the Gold cloaks who remain loyal to you?” He asked him.

Daemon smirked softly “You have learnt a lot dear boy. I have sent word to those who I trust in the Gold cloaks about Lucerys’ capture. As much as I would like to descend on dragonback and rid King’s Landing of the greens. An all out attack would only risk the life of your brother.”

Jace looked at him, “Or we should go in through the tunnels. Keep it quiet and in the dark.” Jace advised him, he knew it was less risky than going all in. “We can’t descend and burn the city, it’s what they would want.” Jace added.

Daemon would smile slightly as he patted Jacaerys’ shoulder “You well. But we cannot risk being seen trying to locate your brother. If we are seen. Then it will be a fight.” He said with a smirk “If we had things my way. We would burn all who stand with the Greens. Making those who surrender bend the knee to your Mother.” He would turn and walk back to the other side of the table. “Once my spies in the Keep locate Lucerys. I will send word to the gold cloaks to start causing… problems. To draw away their guards inside the keep and give us a time to find Luke”

Jace looked at him and grabbed his sword. “I’m ready, I want my brother to be safe.” He responded, he was so heavily eager to get his brother back so the Greens didn’t have any power over them. Daemon would smile “Patience. In time. Once I get word on where your brother is. We will move on King’s Landing”

Jacaeys folded his arms as he saw Harwin standing in the corner, his memories came flooding in, the memories of his true father guiding him during his training and protecting him from Ser Criston.
