Hello there, dear Throners and welcome to my blog.

The Sacrifices for Lightbringer-Hello there, dear Throners and welcome to my blog.
[IMG=X2W]
So we all know the legend of Azo

So we all know the legend of Azor Ahai.

And so we all know that Azor Ahai or Hyrkoon (a way cooler name for Azor Ahai) will come again when the evil, cold darkness descends upon the world.

Alright, most people think that Azor Ahai was also the Last Hero who defeated the White Walkers.

So yeah, just imagine for this blog that Azor Ahai was also the Last Hero and so he comes again to defeat the White Walkers.

Well, Azor Ahai had to reforge his sword two times and the third time the sword became Lightbringer.

Here the legend about it:

"Darkness lay over the world and a hero, Azor Ahai, was chosen to fight against it. To fight the darkness, Azor Ahai needed to forge a hero's sword.

He labored for thirty days and thirty nights until it was done. However, when he went to temper it in water, the sword broke. He was not one to give up easily, so he started over.

The second time he took fifty days and fifty nights to make the sword, even better than the first. To temper it this time, he captured a lion and drove the sword into its heart, but once more the steel shattered.

The third time, with a heavy heart, for he knew beforehand what he must do to finish the blade, he worked for a hundred days and nights until it was finished. This time, he called for his wife, Nissa Nissa, and asked her to bare her breast. He drove his sword into her living heart, her soul combining with the steel of the sword, creating Lightbringer, the Red Sword of Heroes."

And here the prophecy how the reborn Azor Ahai will get Lightbringer:

"There will come a day after a long summer when the stars bleed and the cold breath of darkness falls heavy on the world. In this dread hour a warrior shall draw from the fire a burning sword. And that sword shall be Lightbringer, the Red Sword of Heroes, and he who clasps it shall be Azor Ahai come again, and the darkness shall flee before him."

Ok, well, the new Azor Ahai won't need to forge Lightbringer again, but just draw it from the fire.

So Lightbringer is already somewhere out there and waits for the hero to come for it.

But I think the new Azor Ahai will have to get through the different steps like the original Hyrkoon did.

First step: Water

Second step: Lion's heart

Third step: Nissa Nissa

And here's another thing you have to imagine for the next parts of the blog:

Jon Snow will be Azor Ahai.

I pray for a glimpse of Azor Ahai, and R'hllor shows me only Snow.

Alright, but what has Jon to do with the different steps of forging Lightbringer?

I'll tell you.

Water

The Sacrifices for Lightbringer-Hello there, dear Throners and welcome to my blog.

So we all know the legend of Azo

Ok, Azor Ahai put his first sword into water, but it broke.

And Jon's first sword is his penis. And the water is Ygritte.

So what has Ygritte to do with Water?

First of all, she lives North of the Wall and there's everywhere snow. And what is snow other than water?

Still not convinced?

Well, when Jon slept with Ygritte the first time (and probably also the other times) she had been wet down below and Jon put his sword into her.

And the cave scene? Everywhere water around them.

So Jon put the sword into water. And after Ygritte's death Jon never used this sword again so far.

Or maybe the Water stands for one of the Greyjoys (Euron, Theon or Asha/Yara).

But for killing one of them Jon would need another sword. So forget my last sentences, I stay with Ygritte being the Water.

Lion's Heart

The Sacrifices for Lightbringer-Hello there, dear Throners and welcome to my blog.
[IMG=X2W]
So we all know the legend of Azo

Ok, this one here seem more obvious. Of course the Lion stands for a Lannister.

And one of the Lannisters of the main family, so it's either Cersei, Jaime or Tyrion.

Well, it's not said if the lion was male or female, but I think the legend would tell of a lioness if it was so. And a male lion seems more dangerous and wild as a lioness.

So, yeah, Cersei won't be killed by Jon.

Jaime or Tyrion?

I really don't know.

The Sacrifices for Lightbringer-Hello there, dear Throners and welcome to my blog.
[IMG=X2W]
So we all know the legend of Azo

Maybe it's Jaime protecting his sister of Jon and receiving the deadly swordcut that should hit Cersei.

Or maybe it's Tyrion. Yes, last time Jon and Tyrion saw each other they had been friends. But this would make it even more tragic.

Alright, Jaime or Tyrion gets killed by Jon. And the sword he uses?

Longclaw of course.

The original Azor Ahai used his second sword and drove it into a lion's heart and it shattered.

And the same happens to Jon, more or less.

He drives Longclaw into one of the Lannister brothers. But the sword won't shatter. I mean, it's Valyrian Steel.

But Jon won't use this sword again, just like the first sword.

But because Longclaw is made of Valyrian Steel Jon gives it to someone. And this someone is probably either Jorah or Lyanna.

Jorah would fit very well, because Longclaw was his before he fled to Essos.

Lyanna on the other hand is now the head of House Mormont and Longclaw is the Mormont family sword. So the head of the house should decide who whields it.

Nissa Nissa

The Sacrifices for Lightbringer-Hello there, dear Throners and welcome to my blog.
[IMG=X2W]
So we all know the legend of Azo

Ok, so far we had Ygritte as water and Jon's penis as sword 1. And then we had a Lannister as Lion and Longclaw as the second sword.

So now it's only Nissa Nissa and the third sword missing.

So for step here I have two options for both the sword and Nissa Nissa.

But let's start with Nissa Nissa.

Nissa Nissa had been the wife of Azor Ahai. She sacrificed her life by bearing her breast for her husband and so she saved the world indirectly.

So that's all we know so far of Nissa Nissa.

But I don't think Jon will marry again (that was sword 1 and he won't use it again) and so there won't be a wife to sacrifice herself for Jon.

But love isn't necessary I think.

Option number 1 for Nissa Nissa is Daenerys Targaryen, yes.

The Sacrifices for Lightbringer-Hello there, dear Throners and welcome to my blog.
[IMG=X2W]
So we all know the legend of Azo

Dany is believed by many people to be Azor Ahai. But when Jon is already the reborn Hyrkoon, what is Dany's purpose for the greater good?

Nissa Nissa of course.

Dany is the Blood of the Dragon and has proven that she's fireproof (at least in the show). But why is she fireproof?

"Fire can not kill a Dragon!" But in the past some of Targaryens (dragons) had been killed by fire.

But Dany isn't a dragon. She's the fire itself. And that's why fire can't kill her. "Fire can not kill Fire!"

Fire sent by R'hllor to make Lightbringer.

We know that Dany and Jon will meet sooner or later and when it comes to the end Dany will see that she's the only way to save the world. So she begs Jon to drive his sword (later more of this one) through her breast. Her inner flames, her "soul", will come out and combine with the steel and so Lightbringer is created.

Ok, this was one option for Nissa Nissa. But the other one is also quite possible I think.

It's Melisandre, the Red Woman.

The Sacrifices for Lightbringer-Hello there, dear Throners and welcome to my blog.
[IMG=X2W]
So we all know the legend of Azo

As we know from season 6 Melisandre has way more power than everyone would think.

She's seen a lot of thinks because of her age and being from Asshai Melisandre has learned a lot of magic. She's probably the most powerful Red Priestess in the current timeline.

She knows the threat of the White Walkers very well and is ready to do everything necessary.

If R'hllor orders her to sacrifce herself for Jon and Lightbringer she will do it gladly and without hesitating.

And because of her power and magic (and with the blessing of R'hllor) it's very possible the sword will combine with her soul, catch fire and become Lightbringer.

But why should be Melisandre be allowed to come back on Jon's side?

Jon and Davos both promised her to execute her when she comes back.

So maybe she just comes back and Jon (not Davos) executes her. And Lightbringer is created. But that would be too easy.

Why did we see Melisandre's true appearence last season without having a purpose in the future.

So Melisandre lays down her necklace and comes back north as an old woman. No one would recognize her.

And with her knowledge about whatever is needed she'll soon come back as Jon's advisor.

And at the right moment, when R'hllor orders it, Melisandre demands Jon to kill her. And at the moment the sword strikes through her heart the steel will catch fire and become Lightbringer, the "Red Sword of Heroes".

Ok, so far we have two options for Nissa Nissa. But there are also two options for sword 3, the sword that becomes Lightbringer.

First we have Heartsbane, the Valyrian Steel sword of House Tarly, now in possession of Samwell Tarly.

The Sacrifices for Lightbringer-Hello there, dear Throners and welcome to my blog.
[IMG=X2W]
So we all know the legend of Azo

So Sam is currently in Old Town to become a Maester. But sooner or later he'll head back north to the Wall.

He may will travel to Eastwatch-by-the-Sea by ship. But he might also learn about the Jon leaving the Night's Watch and becoming King in the North stuff and so he decides to travel with a cart through Westeros and stop at Winterfell to see Jon.

There he'll show Jon Heartsbane and gives it to him after Jon told Sam that Longclaw isn't his anymore (or Jon gives Longclaw away after he received Heartsbane).

But why would Heartsbane be better than Longclaw?

First of all, Longclaw is a "bastard sword" and after Jon is named a king, it doesn't fit to whield a bastard's sword. He needs a sword worthy for a king.

And Heartsbane's blade is longer than Longclaw's and so has a greater range. And that is necessary to fight the Night's King (in the show the White Walkers have also long blades on their swords).

And Heartsbane would also fit to be Lightbringer, just because of its name. Jon will have to drive it through "Nissa Nissa's" heart.

But as I said before there is another option for Lightbringer. And this one is even more possible I think.

Probably you guessed it already. It's none other than Dawn, the Dayne's sword that only the worthy ones are allowed to wield it.

The Sacrifices for Lightbringer-Hello there, dear Throners and welcome to my blog.
[IMG=X2W]
So we all know the legend of Azo

Dawn isn't made of Vaylrian Steel but forged of a fallen star. But nevertheless it's similar to Valyrian Steel in strength and sharpness.

So I think it also can kill a White Walker.

And Dawn also fits to be Lightbringer because it's already special and being Lightbringer would make it even more special.

And the name "Dawn" also fits very well. Because after darkness there comes dawn to bring the light.

I confess, I have no idea how Dawn will get into Jon's possession, because only a knight of House Dayne can be worthy to whield Dawn.

Maybe the Dayne's give it to Jon as a matter of respect, just because Ned has returned the sword back to Starfall after the happenings at the Tower of Joy.

Maybe Jon isn't Rhaegar's son, but Arthur's and as the son of Ser Arthur Jon proves himself also worthy to be the Sword of the Morning and gets Dawn.

Or maybe the Dayne will see the need of Dawn in the great war to come and give it to Jon to defeat the White Walkers.

I don't know. Tell me in the comments how you think Jon will receive Dawn.

"Dawn remains at Starfall, until another Sword of the Morning shall arise."

Also the house words of the Daynes haven't been revealed yet because it would spoil the story. So maybe the words are something that reveals that Dawn will be Lightbringer.

summary

Alright, I think it's time for a little summary (at least for me) to order my thoughts.

:fire: The reborn Azor Ahai will be Jon Snow

:snowflake: To get Lightbringer Jon will also have to get over three swords/sacrifices

:fire: The first sword is his penis and the sacrifice Ygritte (water)

:snowflake: The second sword is Longclaw and the sacrifice one of the Lannister brothers (lion's heart)

:fire: The third sword is Heartsbane or Dawn (I think Dawn is more likely)

:snowflake: The third sacrifice is either Dany or Melisandre (both are possible for me)

I think Lightbringer is ICE it was tempered 3 times from Ice to Oathkeeper (Jaime) & Widows wail (Brieene) Both at winterfell with both swords. THe Lion is Jaime and Brienne would be the Nissa Nissa they love each other too. Makes sense to me.

Killing cersei, jon wouldnt fit in the prophecy first of all since he is the oldest of the starks, but the thing that makes me think that this is crazy is that Jon would have to go south for no reason and kill cersei

I also doubt that Jon will be the one to kill Cersie but is he the eldest of the Starks or a younger sibling of someone else? Hmmmm 🤔🤔🤔
