Hello again all you marvelous throners! IceMPyre back again with this weeks challenge! We hope you all enjoyed last weeks challenge, and we will be publishing the results for that soon, but in the meantime, here is this awesome challenge to keep you occupied. I present...

This challenge will involve selecting any two characters from the story, swapping their places any way you would like, and writing what the effects of that swap would be on one character, both, the overall story, or any combination thereof.

You can choose to discuss how that character would have gotten in that place in the first place, what impact it would have on the other characters around them, and / or how their decisions moving forward would change the storyline. Feel free to make the swap occur at any point in the story, and any part of the characters that you want.

Originality is definitely a plus, but substance, presentation, and aesthetics are all areas that will be judged upon as well. We welcome all ideas!

1) Select any two characters of your choosing.

2) Decide at what point in the story / what is being swapped between the two characters, and make the swap:

A good way to make the swap is by writing an outline of where your chosen character(s) will be starting their swapped storyline from, or what characteristics / traits are being swapped, and include at the beginning of your blog.

× For example, if all you want to do is swap Ned and Brandon Stark's ages that is fine, or if you want to swap Jon and Robb as bastard and true born, that would be fine as well, there are no limitations on what your imagination can do!

3) Write the effects of your character swap on the story any way that you wish:

You can discuss how the character would have gotten to where they are, what the effect on other characters around them would be, and / or how the story will be changed moving forward, from that characters perspective, an outside characters perspective, the impact on the overall story, or any combination of those options. Also, you can write a story for just one of the characters, or both!

4) Include either the phrase "Character Swap", or "Character Swap Challenge" in the title of your blog.

5) Place the #CharacterSwapChallenge at least once in your blog.
