Hey guys and welcome to another small breakdown of the latest photos of the new episode for Sunday.
HBO released some new pics yesterday, but I was too lazy to make this breakdown, so I'll make it now.
Let's go…
⚔ ⚔ ⚔ ⚔ ⚔
The Spoils of War
Daenerys fights back. Jaime faces an unexpected situation. Arya comes home.
directed by Matt Shakman
Dragonstone

Dany realizes that she's loosing this war. She lost basically all her allies and conquered one castle with actually no worth, the Unsullied are probably stuck at Casterly Rock with Euron having destroyed their fleet and maybe sacking the castle.
Dany has enough from the clever plans and wants to burn someone (later more of that).
She also might have to ally with Jon, without getting him on his knees. But we all know that Jon doesn't want to fight in her war. So he probably won't ally with her unless Dany has something to give him besides the Dragonglass she's already promised.
Jon and Dany will also go down into a cave to probably start mining the Dragonglass, but we don't have a picture of that scene here, only the trailer.
But back to the pictures. Why Missandei smiling? I bet on Grey Worm's "great" victory. Dany now realizes what's happening between those two.
Dany, Tyrion, Jon, Davos, Varys and Missandei stand on the beach of Dragonstone, looks like they're looking on someone or something.

And here's where they looking at. Theon returns with the remaining Ironborn to Dragonstone. It almost looks like Theon's found some of his courage back.
But now he has to explain his defeat and Yara's capture to Dany.
And he'll see Jon again. And Jon probably won't be that happy to see Theon. After all he took Winterfell, killed two farmer boys (which Jon believed were his half-brothers until Sansa told him) and eventually burned down Winterfell.
Yes, Theon later helped Sansa to escape, but still, Jon wants an answer for all his doings.
King's Landing

Cersei shows her guest from the Iron Bank of Braavos, Tychio Nestoris, her new painted map room.
She explains him that she's winning this war despite all of Dany's power in the first episode.
We know from the trailer that Tychio promises Cersei the of the Iron Bank when she's repaid her deps. Should be not that difficult with now having all the gold of Highgarden. Jaime just has to bring it to King's Landing.
Winterfell

Sansa is back in the Godswood, probably to see Bran again. Hopefully he doesn't mention her wedding night again.
But maybe there's another Stark in the Godswood. Arya returns to Winterfell this episode and so maybe we'll get three (living) Starks in one scene. That hasn't happened since season 1 I think. :flushed:

Littlefinger's watching again down to the courtyard. We've seen in the trailer that Sansa does the same.
I think he's watching down to Brienne and Podrick train again. We've seen in the trailer that Pod again bites the dust and Brienne in her armour and a sword.
And we know from a scene of Sky Atlantic that Brienne and Arya fight against each other. But probably only as training, to see the other's strength…

And here we have a closeup of Brienne and Podrick. But not in the clothing we are used to.
Pod simply has a cloak over his Lannister leather armour. But Brienne did change her armour to some leather clothing.
So that's not the scene where they're in the courtyard to train. Maybe Sansa sends them out to some kind of a mission. Whatever that could be?
The Roseroad

Jaime and Bronn are on their way back to King's Landing to bring Cersei/Tychio Nestoris the gold of Highgarden.
It seems like Randyll, the new Warden of the South, and his son Dickon aren't with them, probably to gather the army of the Reach. It was only the Lannister army (about 10,000 men) that took Highgarden. Randyll probably just watched the Tyrells' castle fall and didn't fight to know break his vows to Olenna.
But now back to the Roseroad. Jaime and Bronn see or hear something in the horizon.

And that's why they look so confused. They thought they just have to bring the Tyrell gold to King's Landing. What could happen with the Unsullied being at Casterly Rock and the Reach and Crownlands staying with Cersei.
But Dany isn't happy with loosing the war and staying at Dragonstone. So she takes the Dothraki, mounts Drogon and hurries to the Reach.
Doesn't look that good for Jaime's army with a Dothraki horde running into them and a huge firebreathing Drogon burning Lannister soldiers alive.
We'll see on Sunday how that plays out.

Ok. That was my little breakdown. I hope you liked it and I'll be back for the quiz for this episode next week at the latest.

Where did u from
For people that care about this sort of thing, episode got leaked 2 hours ago.
One correction.. theon did not burn winterfell. The remaining ironbourne who betrayed theon burn winterfell
It was Ramsay and he let it look like it were the Ironborn (at least in the books).
But everyone, including Jon, thinks it was Theon
Reply to: Lord Varys
Either way it was not theon
Wasn't theon who burned winterfell it was Ramsay Bolton who made it look like the iron born did it after they handed over theon to him at the end of season 2
I know. But the northerners believe it was Theon and so does Jon unless Theon told Sansa and Sansa told Jon.
And we actually don't know if it was Ramsay who burned Winterfell in the show. D&D change things too often
Man I wish Jon bashes theon face into a wall
