#GoTS7; A closer look on the 15 new pictures

Hey guys, it's me, Varys, back again.

So HBO released yesterday the first official pictures of #GoTS7 :tada: :tada: :tada:

And they show us way more than the two released teaser trailers that have been released within the past few weeks.

So I'll have a closer look on these very pictures, but this:

So yeah, I'll go also into the unofficial set-pictures and maybe the leaked story in one or two pictures. So be warned.

But enough with all of this. For those of you who haven't skipped this text above already I'll make and end of this and go along with the pictures.

Beyond the Wall

So Bran and Meera haven't yet ed the Wall while we are waiting for season 7.

They're still on the false side, but not very long I guess.

There aren't any trees of the Haunted Forest anywhere in this picture. But the location also doesn't look like the one directly in front of the gate of Castle Black.

So where are they?

Anyhow I guess they're not far away of Castle Black and our beloved Edd.

So here's what I think will happen:

They're not far away from the saver side of the Wall.

Bran will the Wall and make it to Winterfell (and Meera probably too). Why I am so sure? Because of Bran's season 7 outfit. Not in this picture above, but in the one below. From a video HBO has released recently.

Winterfell

So Brienne has made it back to the North. But where's Podrick? Probably somewhere else at Winterfell.

So here we're gonna see (hopefully) a conversation between Brienne the Beauty and her new lover Tormund.

Tormund has the same look on his face as when they left Castle Black.

So he's gonna flirt a bit with Brienne.

But I think because we know Brienne and her thoughts about Tormund she'll tell him that she's here to serve Lady Sansa and refuses anything Tormund wants to have happen between those two.

Sansa and Littlefinger still at Winterfell, looking down the court just like Ned and Cat were used to do.

Maybe they see the conversation between Tormund and Brienne.

Or they look at someone (Jon) leaving Winterfell and heading south.

They both don't look very amused about what ever happens down the court of Winterfell.

Petyr has a look on his face like he forshadowed something to Sansa she didn't believe until it happens now.

Btw I still don't like this wig Sophie wears in season 7 :unamused:

And now we're back in the Great Hall of Winterfell.

Some northern lords at least haven't left Winterfell and with them are Lady Mormont and Ser Davos Seaworth.

Davos sits on the high table where the lords/kings of Winterfell are used to sit.

Seems like he's become Jon's most trusted advisor.

But the seat next to him is empty.

Davos also wears some new fur because winter has finally arrived to Westeros.

And now let's move on to Lady Lyanna Mormont.

She's standing between all the lords and probably has something important to say.

Maybe Bran has arrived at Winterfell¿

But here's also Petyr Baelish again in the background with the same strange look he had when Jon was named the King in the North.

And here's Jon himself. Down in the crypts of Winterfell :flushed:

This could be the explanation why his seat next to Davos in the great hall is empty.

So I think Bran arrived at Winterfell and told Jon about the Tower of Joy (I hope D&D don't mess this up again :pray: ).

So Jon goes down the crypts and it seems like he's standing in front of his mother's statue.

For the question if he finds something down there or not (what I think) we'll have to wait until July, August or even September, just in which episode this scene will happen.

Somewhere in Westeros

The Hound will return. And with him some other men.

The last time we saw Sandor was with the Brotherhood Without Banners. But is he still with them?

I say yes. You see this man's arm on the right side?

Looks a bit red, but maybe I'm wrong. So it could be Thoros.

But what is with the other men in the background?

Could be the Brotherhood, yes. Or are they some soldiers of a castle? I don't know.

But now onto the Hound himself.

His beard has grown a little bit more and he has a horse now. Not bad

But the thing I was surprised of is his cloak. Yes, it's the cloak of Lem Lemoncloak.

Sandor already took his boots after he hanged him, and now also his cloak.

I don't know where they are, but whereever it is, winter has also come there.

We don't know how far south the snow has come, so maybe the Hound is north of the Neck.

I have a prediction about where he could be, but I'll make another blog about it and won't reveal it until then.

And now to a pic of Arya.

The first thought I had was that she's in Winterfell.

But at a closer look tve location is probably an inn.

Arya also wears some new clothes.

I think, and I hope that will happen, is that Arya is the very inn that was already in the show for more than once.

Yes, I'm talking of the inn where Hot Pie lives now.

I hope for this reunion so much :pray:

Arya (and the men in the background) obviously look at someone.

Maybe it's Hot Pie who recognizes Arya.

King's Landing

And now we're back in the Throne Room of the Red Keep.

It's become dark outside or why else should all those candles burn there.

Cersei still sits on the Iron Throne with Jaime at her side. No Qyburn to see.

So I think Jaime is the one Cersei trust the most.

The outfits of both of them haven't changed very dramatically. So it's probably not become that cold as in the second teaser trailer.

But one thing has changed.

Have a look at Jaime's sword.

It's not the one he had when he besieged Riverrun.

It looks more of Widow's Wail, Joffrey's Valyrian Steelsword :flushed:

Dragonstone

Yes, I'm pretty sure it's Dragonstone where Dany has landed with her army.

Missandei, Tyrion, Varys, Grey Worm, the Unsullied and Dany herself are all there. All with new outfits (except Varys, not yet) and they look great. But later more of it.

But why are they all standing there like this?

Because they're welcome someone.

But who?

My guess is on Jon. Yes, he'll make to Dragonstone. And Davos and Brienne with him.

And now here's where it gets interesting.

Have a look on the picture of the whole team standing there and now on the closeup of Missandei.

On the closeup Missandei wears this Targaryen sigil on her right shoulder whereas in the other picture she doesn't. Only Grey Worm wears one of these.

What is the meaning of this?

Is it a matter or trust and Dany gives these sigils only those she really trusts?

Maybe Missandei wore the sigil once, but then she does something to loose Dany's trust and has to give her back the ring.

You don't have to like her (just like me), but you have to agree that Dany looks awesome in her new outfit.

She finally wears her house colours, red and black.

Dany stands before her new throne, looks like she's talking with someone.

From her face's exoretion I'd say she speaks with Tyrion, but who knows.

And who is the man standing in thebackground?

Maybe it's only an Unsullied in the new outfit.

So, yes, Dany's army has nee outfits now, but they don't look like they're warm enough when the real winter arrives at Dragonstone

Not so does Varys' new outfit.

In the group picture he still wears his silks, but in this picture he's gotten some wool and fur.

And it looks just great. One of my favourite pictures of him.

But why has he changed his clothing?

Is he on a mission north where winter has already arrived?

I say no!

It still looks like the Dragonstone throne room in the background.

He only changed his clothing because it's getting colder and colder.

Why should he still wear his silks while all the others change their outfits to something warmer.

Oldtown

And now last but not least, a picture of Sam and Gilly.

Seems like Gilly is finally allowed to enter the citadel. Or is it just some random room in Oldtown?

Well, Sam also has a new ourfit. Now a maester's robe.

I don't like that it's white and not black He's still a brother of the Night's Watch and has to wear black. Even Maester Aemon wore black.

Even if he's a student of the citadel now, he should wear black I'd say.

So Sam learns everything that he has to become a measter someday.

Probably Marwyn (yes, I hope for him) is behind the camera. He teaches Sam all he has to know.

Or maybe Jorah enters the room soon and searches for a cure for Greyscales.

And Gilly practices her reading. And she's not reading anything.

She reads some lines of The World of Ice and Fire!

And not any random part of it. It's about Azor Ahai!

So there'll be probably an Azor Ahai in Westeros to fight the White Walkers back. And hopefully we'll find out in season 7 who that could be.

And maybe Gilly discovers something very important while reading these old papers.

So that was it. Fiveteen pictures it have been that were released by HBO.

So I hope the next thing getting released is trailer for season 7 :pray:
