Favorite character from the ones that had already been dead when the story began

In ASOIAF we have many interesting characters who actually died before the beginning of the story. So I decided to make this poll so that we can see which one of them has the biggest number of fans. The rules are simple - just vote for the one you like most.

This poll is about the characters who are in close relations to our known from the events in the books characters, lived during Robert’s Rebellion or around that time, have some part in triggering the events which lead to our story etc. Therefore you will not find long death historical characters like Lann the Clever, Aegon the Conquerer, Torrhen Stark etc here.

I will give some info about all of them - I'll try to summarise it as it as a poll not a character description but still I will give some in case you cannot deside between two or three of them and need some backup. :smile:

☄Ashara Dayne☄

She was exceedingly beautiful with violet eyes and dark heir. She was Lady in waiting to Princess Elia Martell and ahe was definitely a lot more beautiful than Elia. Ser Barristan was in love with her. She was inlove with Ned Stark. Some think he was inlove with her too as his brother asked her to dance with Ned as he was too shy to ask her himself. Some say that Brandon Stark was inlove with Ashara but it's all just theories as she is covered in mystery. She is the sister of Ser Arthur Dayne. She commits suicide.

☄Ser Arthur Dayne/Sword of the Morning☄

He was in King's Aerys's Kingsguard. He was the best of the seven even though Ser Barristan was in that guard too. He was an exceptional swordsman. He deserved the right to get his family ancestral sword Dawn. He died at the Tower of Joy and has never gave up on his duty as he protected King's blood till his last day.

:wolf: Lyanna Stark :wolf:

She was the only daughter of Lord Rickard Stark. She was exceedingly beautiful with brown curly heir and grey eyes. She was what they called wolf-blooded as she tend to be with unpredictable actions, wild, with strong will and opinion. She would have used a sword if her father had allowed it. She was betrothed to Robert Baratheon but she thought that he would not be fateful to any woman. She was "crowned" a queen of love and beauty by Prince Rhaegar Targaryen at Harrenhall and escaped with him after the event. She died in childbirth.

:wolf: Brandon Stark/The Wild Wolf :wolf:

He was the older brother of Ned, Lyanna and Benjen. He was hot-blooded/wolf-blooded like Lyanna. Eddard states that this quality is what led them both to early deaths. Brandon was tall, handsome, an excellent swordsman and jouster. He was betrothed to Catlyn Tully. He won a duel with Petyr Baelish but didn't kill him in concession to Catlyn's pleas. Upon entering the Red Keep, Brandon shouted for Rhaegar to come out and die but Rhaegar was not there. King Aerys arrested and Brandon was charged with plotting Rhaegar’s murder. He was bound with a leather cord around his neck and a longsword just out of reach, and he strangled himself trying to get to the sword to save his father.

:wolf: Rickard Stark :wolf:

He was the father of Brandon, Ned, Lyanna and Benjen. He had a long, stern face and quiet dignity. He arranged the betrothals of Brandon and Lyanna. When charged of plotting Rhaegar’s murder he demanded trial by combat expecting to fight a Kingsguard but Aerys chose fire as a champion so Rickard was burned alive.

:dragon_face: Queen Rhaella Targaryen :dragon_face:

She was the the sister-wife to Aerys II Targaryen - The Mad King. I actually decided to include her and not him as I thought that no one would pick up the Mad King as a favorite character but he still fits in the covered of this poll time and events so if you choose him just comment it. :joy: So Rhaella was the mother of Rhaegar, Viserys and Daenerys Targaryen. She was a tragic character. She had miscarriages, stillbirths and children who died at young age. Aerys accused her of being unfaithful saying that the dead children were actually not his. She was a victim of Aerys's madness. She was always mindful of her duty. She died in childbirth giving birth to her only daughter.

:dragon_face: Prince Rhaegar Targaryen :dragon_face:

He was the heir to the Iron Throne as a first born son of Aerys and Rhaella. He was born in a great tragedy that marked his life. He was melancholic, God like handsome, excessively intelligent, bookish, with magical appeal. He was a great swordsman. He used to sing and play. He loved the common folk. He believed in the prophecy of the Prince that was promised and it changed his life. He escaped with Lyanna Stark. People who knew him tend to think he was a great man. People who had romantic interest in him are Elia Martell, Cersei Lannister, Lyanna Stark, Jon Connigton. He was killed by Robert Baratheon - Lyanna's betrothal. More info of him HERE

☉Princess Elia Martell :dragon_face:

Elia was the wife of Rhaegar Targaryen and the sister of Doran Martell and Oberyn Martell. She was beautiful, slender with black eyes. She had delicate health. She was gentle, good, gracious but frail. She was clever with sweet wit. She had 2 children with Rhaegar - Rheanys and Aegon. After giving birth to Aegon maesters said she won't have any more children. She was murdured during the Sack of King's Landing by Gregor Clegane.

🦁Joanna Lannister🦁

Joanna was the mother of Cersei, Jaime and Tyrion and the wife of Tywin. Joanna's marriage to Tywin was reportedly a happy one. Joanna became Tywin's trusted counselor and companion. Her influence on her husband was such that people would say that Tywin ruled the Seven Kingdoms as Hand of the King,"but was ruled at home by his lady wife." She was Lady in waiting to Queen Rhaella Targaryen even before Rhaella became a Queen but she was dismissed as there were many rumours of her and King Aerys and Aerys himself shows liberties towards Joanna. Joanna Lannister died in childbirth.

🕊Jon Arryn🕊

I was wondering if this one counts but things started with his death we didn't see him dying so why not. He was Lord of the Eyrie, Defender of the Vale, Warden of the East and Hand of the King to Robert Baratheon. He acted as a second father to Eddard Stark and Robert Baratheon. He was a wise and calm man. It was mostly him who ruled during Robert’s reign. He was also the one to choose Cersei for Robert's wife and Robert agreed to his decision. He brought Littlefinger to the Small Council because of his wife Lysa Tully. He was the first to find out the truth about Cersei's children and their lineage. He had one son and heir - Robert Arryn. He was poisoned by his wife Lysa and Petyr Baelish.
