Debunking N+A=D

This will be the second post in the series called Tyrion The Targaryen Bastard where I debunked the A+J=T theory. In this post I will post a theory that when I heard it I thought people were trying to be funny, I mean surely no one can believe such obvious bullshit right? Well I was wrong apparently some people do believe this theory. How people arrived at this theory is beyond me, they must be reading some alternative book than me.

Lets Look at N+A= Daenerys

Daenerys Reminds Barristan Of Ashara

"Even after all these years, Ser Barristan could still recall Ashara's smile, the sound of her laughter. He had only to close his eyes to see her, with her long dark hair tumbling about her shoulders and those haunting purple eyes. Daenerys has the same eyes. Sometimes when the queen looked at him, he felt as if he were looking at Ashara's daughter But Ashara's daughter had been stillborn, and his fair lady had thrown herself from a tower soon after, mad with grief for the child she had lost, and perhaps for the man who had dishonored her at Harrenhal as well" - Barristan Selmy

We see here that Danys eyes remind Barristan of Ashara. I mean They both had the Violet Eyes

Not a common feature. I dont think there is anything to it. They have similar eyes so what. Aegon has purple eyes dont think he is asharas son or related to the Daynes.

Viserys

If Daenerys wasnt Viserys sister wouldnt he know about it? I mean he was 8 when she was born he could easily her birth. I my sister's birth clearly and I was only 4 at the time. I mean Viserys is always referring to Daenerys as his sister and never gives any indication that anything else is amist.

So you have to say that Viserys knew that Dany wasnt his sister which brings up why he would lie. Why would he keep this baby safe at great expense to him? He sold his mothers crown to keep her fed thats big for someone who isnt his sister.

If N+A = Daenerys why white hair

So if Ned Stark had a baby with Ashara Dayne and its Daenerys why does she have White Hair? Ashara, and Ned all have Dark hair there no way Danys hair color is what it is naturally. Also Dany hair burns completely off and grows back and its all white so once again she couldnt have come from Ned

Daenerys has Prophetic Dreams

Dany has had prophetic dreams several times throughout the story this is a Targaryen Trait and a trait of Greenseers. We know Dany isnt a Greenseer though. Now it does seem like the prophetic dreams is a strictly Targaryen trait it doesnt appear that the Valyrians had it at all. The story of Daenys The Dreamer having the dreams of the Doom of Valyria before it happened and convincing her father to move away from Valyria is well known. I mean it appears othe valyrians didnt have this gift elsewise we should assume some of them would leave Valyria. If Dany wasnt a Targaryen she wouldn't have these dreams.

Dragons

I mena Daenerys did hatch 3 dragons and as mentioned in a earlier blog theres no proof the Daynes are Valyrians, they're certainly not related to the Targaryens. Only dragon hatching we have seen comes from the Dragonlords of Valyria which even if the Daynes were somehow proto Valyrians still wouldnt be. Hatched 3 dragons tamed 1 of them somewhat gonna take a stab in the dark and say shes a Targaryen.

Dragonstone

Now Daenerys has probally the most well documented birth we have seen in the series and No that doesnt mean we should question her birth then. Daenerys was born 9 months after Rhaella left Kings Landing for Dragonstone. She was born during a hurricane that wrecked the Targaryen Fleet on Dragonstone. Oh btw did I mention there was an entire Garrison on Dragonstone? Because there was. We also know there was at least 1 wet nurse there and just guessing at this one but probally some servants. Now this Garrison knew the war was lost and were going to give the children over to Robert. Willem Darry got wind of this and along with 2 other loyalists and a wet nurse took off before this could happen. So theres hundrends of people on Dragonstone Likely certainly a fair amount who are all on guard looking for an attack so it would be very hard to switch babies without being noticed. Unless this person is the greatest Ninja of all time I dont see it happening.

Why Wouldn't Ned Raise Dany?

We have Ned Stark honorable man raises Jon Snow as his Bastard son but he leaves his bastard daughter at Starfall? Or puts her with Viserys? Why would he not just leave her at Starfall where her family could raise her and where she wouldnt look that out of place I mean she could as a Dayne easily. Why not send her to the free cities where theres other Valyrian children? It makes no sense

Why Put Her With Viserys

Lets say for whatever reason that Ned Stark wants to protect his daughter with Ashara his solution is to hide his daughter with the one place she is sure to be found being with Viserys Targaryen. Robert has spies all around and we know he has been spying on Dany and Viserys for a long time and couldve killed them at any time. Hiding any child with Viserys is stupid as fuck there absolutely going to be found.

Timeline

It just doesnt fit the timeline for this to be true or for Dany to be Asharas daughter at all. Ashara wouldve already killed herself or faked her own death by the time Daenerys was born. You would have to say Dany is older than she thinks she is.

Edric Dayne Says Ned And Ashara Were In love

Its true he does say this but keep in mind he also says Wylla Was Jon Snows Mother and that Ashara Dayne commited suicide. So why would he be right about Ned and Ashara being in love.

Why Keep It A Secret?

The reason for all the secrecy if Ned and Ashara are Daenerys parents is what now? Dany is no threat to Robert at all.

Ned Was Outraged At The Plans To Kill Daenerys

Yea he was certainly but then again, Ned kinda has a problem with killing children. We see it way back when Aegon and Rhaenys were killed him risking everything to save Daenerys doesnt mean that Dany is his kid. He just doesnt like for children to be killed.

I mean I was shocked when I heard this theory because its so out of left field and so obviously wrong. I dont usually like to say a theory is wrong but I feel safe in saying this one is. How anyone could ever believe this is beyond me.
