Hey, Lord Wydarr Manderly here again with quite a theory. I don't know if any of you have heard this theory, but I read a comment on youtube, and decided to make a blog out of it. So here we go:
As you all know, Jaime and Cersei are Lannister twins, the children of Tywin Lannister and his wife Joanna Lannister. Both children are known for their beautiful looks, but rumour also has it that they are lovers (tryin' to get poetic here, but who am I kidding with; we all know they've got three children).

But let's get into the theory now.

As most of you know, in 259 AC Joanna went to King's Landing to attend the coronation of king Jaehaerys II Targaryen. Rumour has it that the night of the coronation, Joanna gave her maidenhood to prince Aerys. But maester Pycelle is strongly against this; Tywin would never marry a woman that has been 'used' by other men.
Now, to the facts:
-Jaime and Cersei have an incestous relationship towards each other (like Targaryens did), and it seems as if they also want to keep their Lannister blood pure.
-Cersei has unhealthy love for wildfire. Her eyes are described as being like wildfire, she felt as if the wildfire that burned the Hand's tower was 'cleansing', and recently, she burned down the Great Sept of Baelor with wildfire.
-If Aerys knew Jaime was his child, this may explain why he kept Jaime by his side, when he knew that Jaime was a Lannister, an enemy house.
-It would be one of GRRM's sadistic ironies to let Jaime kill his own father, when he believed he was protecting his father (Tywin).
-What's crueler is that Tyrion is Tywin's only son. And Tywin's last words were: "You're not my son."
-What is a weaker evidence, is that Tyrion is the only obe that has Tywin's political acumen, whilst Cersei and Jaime don't. They seem to have gotten the rather mad side of king Aerys. Cersei's cruelty and clear madness from episode 10 has shown that she is her father's daughter (if he were her father) and Jaime's ever-changing personality, from a bad guy to a good guy, and vice versa.

I know tywin is a jerk to tyrion...but it would be fun if this theory did come true. Tyrion and tywin r too alike and i really hope tyrion is not a targaryen...it will make the story too hollywood..
Yeah. Besides, we do need to have at least one true-born Lannister :joy:
I have heard a similar theory before, for house Lannister prefer to name their member started with "Ty".But Jaime, the first son and Cersei are not so. Though I hope Tyrion is a Targeryen . :see_no_evil: :see_no_evil: :see_no_evil:
That's a very good foreshadowing, the one about 'Ty'!!! I never thought of it that way, but maybe GRRM let it be as some kind of foreshadowing. Names have shown to have a history of their own.
It is ironic that Tyrion is the most like Tywin, but Tywin refuses to acknowledge this keep on saying that he brings shame to the House, while it is actually Jamie and Cersei (Cersei a lot more) who are less like their father. Except for Cersei 's craving for power
I think Cersei and Jaime belong to Aerys and Tyrion to Tywin. I think the red herring was Tyrion being a Targaryen when in reality it is the twins who are Targaryen
I think you thought it out but I am more inclined to think Tyrion is the mad king's son born of rape. At the time Tywin was hand of the King and Aery's was upset that people said Tywin ran the country. Between Tyrion's conception and birth Tywin left king's landing and returned to Casterly Rock some say because of the rape. Tyrion's mother died in child birth just like Danny and Jon's did. Tywin was a jerk but the hatred he had for Tyrion went way past being a Dwarf. It was like "you are the son of my enemy and killed the love of my life but because of my pride I can not disown you letting ever one know" type of hatred! Also Tyrion has one purple eye and had dragon dreams as a child. Not a lot of evidence but I think we may get it in Winds of Winter!
Good points you have there, my friend 🤔
