Yes its killing Sansa didn't tell Jon, I mean Sansa didn't know 100% the knights of the Vale would come. What if she told him them they didn't come or not in time? Jon fell into Ramsays trap like anyone who loves their family would!!!! VERY BRAVE!

She could have told him that LF said he had a force at Moat Caitlyn. She could have told him she didn't trust LF to show up. They could have planned accordingly... But regardless this post is about Jon, not Sansa!!! I offer you to look at it this way.. Jon was willing to die to save his brother. At this point, the battle was not lost. Jon "fell for the trap," but then used himself as bait to get Ramsey's army to charge him, which they did. If his army would have been willing to sacrifice himself, they could have executed their original battle plan.
