Brothers Beyond The Wall

Hello Friends! Its me No Face here with my entry for #theally challenge! As you can tell by the picture I have chosen the best sidekick of all time: CHEWBACCA! I feel like I don't even have to explain why he would be a great choice as an ally. But for any of you who aren't familiar with the Wookie, no fear! I shall explain :blush:

1. Loyalty

Hes been friends with Han Solo for years. Has always had his back. He has been a fixture in the Rebel Alliance and has fought on their side for a long time. He always has your back and would run through a wall of Stormtroopers to save you.

2. Great Fighter

If its using his trusty cross bow or a blaster, Chewbacca is battle hardened and ready to attack. He would be an asset to any army. He is also very strong and tall. Just his voice and appearance would scare most the people in Westeros.

3. Can Survive the Cold

Being a Wookie from Kashyyyk, he is covered head to toe in warm fur.

4. Hell of a Pilot

Being a co-pilot to Han Solo for many years, Chewbacca is a legendary pilot in his own right. This may not be applicable in Westeros but it shows he can think quick and has fast reflexes. He also knows how to fix things as the Millennium Falcon tends to always need repairs.

5. He is Awesome

Chewie's sense if humor is endearing. Although he is big and scary he is really a big softy and a great companion.

Cons to Having Chewbacca as a Sidekick

To be honest, I can't think of any cons as having him as an ally. Perhaps that he can only speak in Wookie.

Who would I pair this amazing Wookie with? None other than the Husband to Bears himself, Tormund Giantsbane.

Not only would the two get along, both are ferocious fighters. With these two teamed up, the North would be littered with broken bodies of the wights. And now I have prepared a small AU fic with Chewbacca, Tormund and The Hound. Hope you enjoy ^__^

Brothers Beyond the Wall

The Hound stopped and took a swig of wine.

"How much bloody farther til we find this brother of yours?" The Hound looked at Tormund Giantsbane with annoyance. It was cold beyond The Wall and they had been walking all day in the snow.

"Close...See here?" Tormund pointed to the ground. "My brother leaves tracks."

The Hound inspected the footprints. They were huge. Bigger than any man should have, even his brother Gregor's. Yet too small for a giant. Sandor wondered if perhaps the stories of Tormund and bears were true.

"Your brother is a dumb cunt for leaving tracks with all these wights around." Sandor scoffed.

"No friend. When you see these tracks you run. My brother fears no man. Dead or living. Har Har Har!"

Tormund slapped Sandor on the back. Up ahead were some mountains. The tracks led them to a cave opening.

"CHEWBACCCCAAAAAAA!" Tormund shouted at the cave entrance. The name echoed loudly into the cave.

"Chewie! I know youre in here brother!" Tormund was smiling from ear to ear.

Silence. They stood at the opening of the cave.

"Maybe he froze to death," Sandor smirked and reached for his skin of wine.

Before he could put it to his lips he something from behind him snatched it out his hands. He spun around, blade in hand. Before him was a huge hairy brown beast. Not a bear nor a man.

"Brother!" Tormund leaped into the beast's arms. The thing named Chewbacca put an arm around Tormund while his other hand drank Sandor's wine.

"You had us fooled! Har Har Har!"

Chewbacca made a growling noise. Speaking in a language Sandor couldn't understand.

"I've forgotten how stealthy you are. No I didnt bring Shiela with me, I've found another! Shes a tall big woman, you'd like her!"

The two chatted as Sandor looked at them confused.

"Oh this guy? They call him The Hound. We came to get you. Theres a war brewing Chewie. The dead awaken. Best get south o' The Wall."

Chewie made a argumentive grunt.

"Yea I know. But we need fighters. Especially now that Wun Wun is gone." Tormund said sadly looking into Chewbacca's eyes.

The Wookie looked at Tormund for a second and went deep into the cave. A few minutes later he emerged with a sleek black cross bow and muttered something in Wookie.

"He said he needs his falcon."

"The fuck is he gonna do with a falcon?" Sandor followed the two outside the cave.

"He said he can't leave without his falcon, im not going to question him. I've seen him pull a man's arm off for trying to eat his porg once."

Sandor had no idea what a porg was. These Free Folk were a strange people. All the tales of North of The Wall were true and then some.

They scaled the ridge and walked through the barren snowscape. All the while Tormund and Chewbacca chattered incessantly. He heard the words "dragons" and "Night King" and "The Wall" but Sandor gave up on trying to understand the brothers.

"Where the hell is this damn bird?" Sandor yelled at them. They turned and looked at him. The Wookie growled something back at The Hound.

"He said shut your ugly face up before he eats you. Har Har Har!"

Sandor gripped the hammer he had taken from the boy Gendry. "He can bloody well try."

Before Sandor could even get into a stance the Wookie charged at him growling. For a second The Hound thought he really was meant to be the beast's lunch.

"Wights!!" Tormund yelled. Behind them half a dozen wights emerged from another path along the ridge. Tormund and Sandor braced themselves.

Chewbacca, growled so loudly the dead men paused. He then wrestled the hammer out of Sandor's hand, dropping the crossbow he brought along into the snow. The Wookie charged at the wights with fury as Tormund ran into the fight with out hesitation. The Hound was going to in the attack but the two were fighting so well together. As if they had been in a hundred battles, side by side. The brawl was done in a matter of seconds. Broken bodies of the dead men lay below them. Some parts still twitching.

Climbing back to Sandor, Chewie huffed clouds of steamy breath. He handed the hammer back to Sandor more gently than Sandor had thought he would.

He growled something at Tormund and kept walking.

"He said it best we get to his falcon before the rest of them come." With that said, Tormund turned around and followed Chewbacca. Sandor no longer questioned the will of the beast and went along.

After a while they reached a clearing. When they got closer, nestled between some trees The Hound gasped. A structure like he had never seen before was before them. Chewbacca said something in Wookie to Sandor and laughed.

"He said, 'Fuck the dragons, I have The Falcon.' Har Har Har!"

I hope you liked my entry! Fun fact: my family calls me Princess Chewbacca because of my all around Wookieness when trying to awaken me in the mornings.
