#ArtChallenge - Festive Lannisters

Hello! In this blog I want to show you my finished work for the #ArtChallenge and also present some Work-In-Progress (WIP) pictures.

This is the final piece. I used a Graphic Tablet and Paint Tool SAI. Sadly, I don't know how much time I actually needed, since I finished it during several free afternoons and wasn't constantly drawing

Here you can see the basic sketch.

I started colouring the artwork by simply filling the lineart with the base colours I wanted to use.

Next I added a background to the picture. I tried using warm colours to give the picture a more 'Christmas-like' look with its comfortable atmosphere. I also added shadows and light.

After I finished drawing Cersei I began with Jaime (I hate drawing males.) Since the beginning I wanted to give the picture this somehow adorable look with Jaime wrapped in a blanket and Cersei wearing a Santa hat.

Once again, the finished Artwork.

By the way, feel free to use the Artwork wherever you want. You don't have to credit me and I also included a picture without the signature.
