༺ Born from the stars themselves, the Zodiac have a greater connection to the constellations most people just know of as the zodiac (hence the name). Their origin is a bit fuddled, but they have been documented to have existed as old as when the 12 zodiac gods divided the lands of Gaia between themselves.

༺ Their appearance depends on race but also heavily depends on subspecies. Subspecies vary on the race, but the most common subspecies thought all races is demihuman, so most Zodiacs look alike to humans.

༺ The species derived their powers from the zodiac gods themselves. Each race receives their power from their corresponding zodiac god. Mana limits and one’s elemental affinity also depend on their race. Additionally, a subspecies can also effect one’s affinity towards a certain element.

༺ There are many subspecies that vary on the race. However, demihuman, humanoids that look completely human in appearance, save for some attributes and abilities of their race, is the most common subspecies that spans throughout each race. A subspecies dictates the appearance and even elemental sway of a Zodiac.
