- He was born a shifter (like he could turn into animals people etc.) his mom was happy but his dad as very upset, because that didn't fit what he wanted for his kids. So he got abused along with his younger brother and sister while his mom was away. His older brother was favorited because he was a vampire, and he would always try to help his 2 younger siblings without putting his own life on the line, and would only get beaten when he or someone else did something wrong. On his 10th birthday, his dad tried to shoot him, but his mom took it for him and she died. He blamed himself for that. Eventually, He(his father) found out he was planning on escaping, so He slit his stomach and throat and threw him out into the street. A vampiress finds him, and asks him if wants to live. He said yes, and she turned him. She taught him stuff, like how to hunt, control his bloodlust, and basically how to live with his new powers and cravings. She introduced him to alcohol as a thing to help, but hes trying to get off it since it caused him to hurt people he loves, and it isn't working out so well, but his cop mama Opal is trying to help him. He fights so he doesn't seem as vulnerable as he really is, cause he's scared that if he lets anyone in, he'll get hurt. He doesn't like feeding off people any more, and avoids sexual encounters. He can be emotionally unstable at times, all he wants is to forget his childhood, and live happily, but it's not easy, as reminders flood to him from anything.
