Thoughts.

Settling in with every movement I make.

Screaming.

Crying.

Pain.

It won't leave me alone.

Won't stop pounding.

Screeching.

Wailing.

Crying out and nobody hears.

No one will care.

And no one will try.

Yet my cheery blue will stay by my side.

He comes when I want him.

Always there when I open the door.

The only one left who will make me smile.

Even if it will only last for a short while.

The ephemeral feeling of which he gives

Is why I keep going back to him.

Even though I know that this addiction is tearing me apart......

But what would I do without My Cheery Blue?
