Day 5 - A Show You Hate

CW: Mentions of violence and blood and other GOT things

I can’t say that I hate any show really. I have shows that I don’t like or I can’t understand why they’re so popular due to the story or the acting but I guess everyone has there own opinions and should be free to enjoy what they are.

A couple of those for me that I don’t understand why are:

The Walking Dead

For me it doesn’t seem to have a story that keeps moving forward or keeps it interesting enough for me. Now I must it I’ve only watched a few episodes and I’m not sure whether it gets better as time goes on but yes. I just don’t understand.

And:

Game of Thrones

I am aware that this is probably heresy by this point but there you go, it’s just my opinion. It just seems to be violence, blood and topless ladies. I mean don’t get me wrong I have no problem with violence and stuff if it’s used to advance a story but if it’s just there simply for the sake of it, well, I just don’t understand.

I don’t know maybe I’ll give them both a chance again at some point as I’ve only watched a couple of seasons of GOT :)

Game of thrones os something you have to watch for detail. If you like to text friends while warching a tv show or multi-task, you'll miss all essence of the show. Little a 14 second sentence can move the plot due to the intensity of actual dialogue. The dialouge explains why each act of violence is happening none of it is senseless, but can be overwhelming for some. Now the boobs, Well I got nothing for that. Guess bras don't exist :joy: :joy: :joy: .

I think that’s the problem really, I have ADHD and so actually sitting and watching every little last thing is so hard for me. And even if I do manage to do that I can’t always put it together in my head, you know? So it’s possible I’m never going to get into it?
