The Lykaos....more like coolkyaos
It was a quiet night for Jonah in Saint Denis, he just came out from the local gun store for ammunition, just in case if the road home was violent. In the last month he saw a alarming amount of ambushes and assassinations in the roads he usually used when he was buying meat for his trading business.
Usually smoking wasn't the best thing to do at that hours of the night nor it was good for his lungs, but he felt pretty happy that night so he didn't think twice when he started smoking. Walking slowly to Charlotte a small kid appeared seemingly out of nowhere to talk to Jonah out of nowhere
"Hey mister! How are you? Can I have a little of your cigarette mister?" He extended his hand to recieved it
"Get out of here kid, it's too late for you to be outside your mother might be worried" Jonah shook his head in denial
"She might not mister....she is sick so I have to take care of myself and...well I just wanted..." the kid looked down
"Ah don't you give me that look..." - Jonah playfully smiled - "fine but don't go around asking for this so often, some people might think you want to steal from them"
"Oh thaaaank you sir! You are a fiiiiine man!" The kid smiled and ran away while laughing
Jonah had two seconds to find out something was wrong but he failed as a man totally dressed in black tackled him from behind and stabbed him in the gut, the kid had led him to a dead end without Jonah noticing it.
"You shouldn't had come to this place old gun....you should had stayed where you belong! Alone! In the wilderness! Without no one to love you!" The hand of the stranger repeatedly punched Jonah's face
"What are you talking....about?" He spits blood from his mouth
"You don't us boy? We fucked you up because you hanged one of our guys! But we are eternal! We are everywhere! I thought we made it clear that day!"
"Can you be more specific please? There are so many gangs that wanted to kill me that I lost count and the names of pretty much all of them" if he could resist just a little bit longer, he could reach the knife in his boot
"The Grays!!!! We started killing you by taking away your family now I'm gonna finish the job!"
"Well if maybe Jacob Gray could had been a little more annoying or psychotic he may have been dead before he could hang!" The hand of Jonah finally got the knife and stabbed the Gray in his back, which was enough distraction for Jonah to free himself from the body of his enemy
"This is the end for you pal! The END!" Gray pulled out his gun before being shot three times in the chest
When Jonah opened his eyes he saw a lawman standing on top of the dead Gray member with the smoke of the gun still in the air
"Other Mister Gray has the strict rule of nobody killing you except for him" the officer was still looking at the dead man
"What the hell does that mean" Jonah was catching his breath
"It means that you will die sir Jonah...but by his hand"
"Can I pick up my knife please?" Jonah was very careful with the words he was using
"Enjoy the rest of your night...sir" and with this said the lawmen left the scene
Jonah ran as fast as he could to the outsides of Saint Denis and only then he whistled for Charlotte.
There were no more safe places for him now, the Grays had found him.
