hello, welcome to my first tutorial and today ill be showing you how to make a profile picture like this:

I recently figured out how to make these and its honestly super easy! let's get into it.

what you will need

• a profile picture cropped into a square

• a circular gif border (check shared folder!)

• a psd (im using this psd for today)

• an unfiltered background if turning into a theme

step one:

check the size of the profile picture. go into image then image size to check if you're unsure. that number (in this case its 551).

step two:

adjust the size of the circular gif border. go into image then image size again and change the number into the number you ed from the profile picture (ive changed it to 551).

step three:

duplicate the gif border on top of the profile picture layer. go into layer then duplicate into and change the option to where the profile picture is.

your profile picture should now look like this!

step four:

at this point you should add your psd on, this is so that the gradient of the gif matches the colour scheme of your theme better! add the psd on the same way I showed you in step three. layer then duplicate into and change to the option where your profile picture is.

step five:

find a circle gif cropper and crop your image into a circle with the border still visible.

step six:

well done! you've done your profile picture. if you want to make it into a theme find a background and add the psd on top of it like I did in step four.
